The most fun part is lighting up the 天灯, its also one of the purpose we went down to the jetty!
My sis bought this for me like monthsss ago~
Wanted to put it up with Veron, but in the end we dragged then we didnt put it together already.
Same to boyfriend as well. -.-
So since its Mid Autumn festival, and everyone are playing with candles, holding lantern, i decided to put this up as well~
I asked mum to go down with me and we met bro and his gf.
My bro and his gf was all paiseh to put it up.
They were afraid that it could go up, or halfway it will fall and hit somebody's head. -.-
Surprisingly, we saw other people putting it up as well~
We went to a spot at the bridge, then we opened up the lantern.
Sadly, the red one was spoilt, there's hole so we didnt light that up.
As for the purple one, even though the support was broken, we still tried to put it up~
Full moon tonight!
Orangey is our lantern.

I was really happy that it flew up high..
However halfway, the lantern burned up, and luckily dropped into the water NOT other people's head. :)
We guessed it burned up because the support was broken, therefore it shake left and right when flying up so it burnt in the end.
Anyway, its ok as it's our first experience!
We'll try again next time. ^^
We continue to walk around and took some photos after that.
After the renovation, the place really attracts a lot of people.
The last time when i saw the place filled with people on Mid Autumn Festival was when i was very very very young. Maybe primary school?
Pardon me, i didnt put on make up.
I went there just after i reached home from my company dinner. (Will blog about it on another post tomorrow)

I called this the 'Lantern Tree'/ 灯笼树.
I find it very nice with all different colour and type of lanterns hanging on the tree. :)

Two weeks back, i went to my brother's booth and went to buy mooncakes for BF's family. :)

I like the color but i didnt eat it.
