Cruise with Royal Carribean 2016 - Day 4 & 5

Last full day, on the fouth day (3 March 2015), is when the ship cruised back to Singapore.
In the morning, I met up with the family for breakfast at Windjammer Cafe.
Oh, I love the wide selection and we should have went for it from the start!
My mum and grandma had it since the first morning.
Their biscuit is so good and its better than the one in Popeye.

Saw a table of origami using towels.
Cute aren't they?

After food, we went to rest awhile before going for a swim.
The pool is not very big and it is salty water, not chlorine water.
We also get to soaked in the Jacuzzi.

After the swim, all of us got tanned because we swam during the hottest hours of the day, no one applied sunblock (even though I brought it) and also the pool is salty.
I can see my tan line even till today. :(
And at one point of time, my skin even peeled, which is the second time in my life my skin peeled after tanning.
I think I must be having karma cos I kept laughing at my bro's peeling skin. =X

Since the cruise was cruising the whole day, the casino opened the whole day.
So, we went to try luck again.
On this day, I try to win back the losses and so I did, just win back small.
I guess I was really really lucky.

Back to room to rest for awhile and saw rabbit! :D

My red face. D;

Not sure what show is it, we just went inside and I saw Fiona and Puss In Boots and just took a snap of them. Haha~

We actually went to Dragon Lair because the programme was Karaoke Party Time.
It's not a place where you sings in a room but at a open stage.
However, due to songs limitation (Doesn't have the song dad wants to sing), we left the place.

We went for a later dinner.

This is durian pudding that some of them were waiting for since Day 1.

The last family photo (excluding Sis-in law, and dad's friend) with our friendly waiters. :D
The other waiters had performed Gangnam style dance for us. Entertaining.

The last night, we didn't sleep early.
Dad wanted to explore the area so we went to "Dancing Under the Star Deck Party" at the Pool Deck.
People were dancing with the staffs and we also get to watch bartender juggling liquor bottles.
My sis and I also danced a little to the songs that we were familiar like Gangnam Style and Macarena. Haha.. it was fun.

After that, we went back to Dragon Lair for another activities - Farewell All Request Night with DJ Armani.
Below is a picture of a empty dance floor.
Slowly, people came in to dance and drink.
We didn't dance but watching people danced, while we drank Heineken.

The last day, which is Day 5 (4 March 2016), slept for about 4hr before waking up for breakfast.
Did the last minute packing, and we were out of the cruise at around 10.30am.

Overall, I had a good experience with the family and with Royal Caribbean.
However, I am not sure when will be my next cruise trip.
It is good for a bigger family to enjoy together but I guess I wouldn't go if its only the two of us.
I would rather explore different countries or cities.

Lastly, I hope you enjoyed reading my posts.
You may go to my 'Travelogue' tabs to read on all the other travel posts.
See you~

Cruise with Royal Carribean 2016 - Day 3

We docked at Langkawi port on the 3rd day (2 Mar 2016).
Had in-room breakfast at the balcony, looking out to a great view.

After that, we went to Mum room to see their balcony view.

We didn't go for the shore excursion.
Instead, my mum, dad, G and I went out to the Langkawi Duty Free Mall to walk.
While my other family members stayed in the cruise.

When we were out of the cruise, I was surprised that we did not need our passport.
We just need our SeaPass to go back in.
Anyway, we got a cab and were dropped at Zone Duty Free shop.
The ride cost about RM15-20.
We walked about for 2-3 hours, only bought some food souvenirs before heading back to the cruise.

Once again, tried to take a photo of the huge ship but still fail. LOL.

Oh, on this day, I sign up fo the Singtel DataRoam Saver plan for Malaysia for a day.
It cost me $19 and I could share it with my family. LOL.
However, its really useless to buy data when you are on the cruise because when the ship is cruising, the data is really low and you won't be able to get connection.

Just a selfie that I sent to my girlfriends. Haha~

While my family were away to watch the Ice skating show, G and I went to look for activities.
Actually, I wanted to try the rock climbing but was a little afraid and also scare I'll broke my nails so in the end, we didn't try it.
Instead, we went for other activities like playing basketball, table tennis.
When I met up with my family again, we went to a game room and we played Big 2.
If I were to gamble with them, I'm sure I'll be the biggest loser. D;

Dinner at the same dining room again.

My dinner of the day is chicken rice.
And I love the rice and the sauce.
The sauce is not spicy, its not your usual chicken rice chill sauce.
My family asked for a total of 6 plates of the chicken rice's rice. LOL!

This toast with condense milk is tooooo sweet.
Its like I feel that I'll get diabetes after eating just 1 mouthful of it.
But its sis-in-law's favorite. -.-

Our usual table number and waiters.

Night spent at casino again.
The 2 slots machines became my sis and sis-in-law income generating machines.

Back to room and saw Mr. Monkey joining the bat. Haha~

G also bought me an advance bday present - MK bag!
I guess its cheaper than outside.
Bought it at less than USD300 which I think its quite worthy.
Just that the bag is a little small so I cannot put much stuff in.
Still, I like it.

Future World: Where Art Meets Science

Went to ArtScience Museum's Future World: Where Art Meets Science today with G.
The exhibition is divided into four themes - Nature, Town, Park and Space.
The first theme that we went in was Nature.
It was like stepping into a digital garden with flowers carpeting the floor and walls.

Next, we experienced the impact of climate change in 100 Years Sea Animation Diorama.
The film is based on scientific data derived from the World Wildlife Foundation (WWF).

The second theme is Town.
This zone is filled with fun activities where the kids can get interactive with the digital technology.
The below is called the 'Connecting Train Block', whereby you can move the blocks to make tracks for the train to move about.

Next is the 'Sketch Town'.
G and I thought this is interesting so we also selected our own paper drawing and start coloring it.
Crayons are provided.
After you done with coloring, there is a scanner whereby you scanned your colored drawings and bring it to life in the Sketch Town.

My rainbow house.

Which turn into a 3D landmark in the Sketch Town. :D

This is the 'Media Block Chair'.
You will be able to create playful and vibrant structures from stacking blocks that glow and change colour when you connect them together.

'A Table Where Little People Live' is where the actions of the llittle people change in response to the shape and color of the objects, becoming more animated as you introduce more and more objects into their world.

The third theme is Park.
The 'Universe of Water Particles' is a seven-metre tall virtual waterfall.

You can customized your own hopscotch game at 'Create! Hopscotch for Geniuses'.
Circles, triangles and squares can be arranged on an electronic tablet provided, which are then projected onto the floor.

The 'Light Ball Orchestra' is where beachball-sized globes of multicoloured light and sound are your instruments in this electrifying, one-of-a-kind orchestra.
Touch any ball to change the colour and sound of the balls around it, creating a resonating effect throughout this dazzling environment.
I guess the kids are really enjoying this section.

'Sketch Aquarium' is like 'Sketch Town'.
Just that this time round, we are now coloring sea creatures.

The sea creatures that I selected is the Jellyfish.

How's my drawing?
I think its cute. Haha~
But I'm bad at coloring using crayons.

'Story of the Time When Gods Were Everywhere' is a digital artwork where you can create your own environment by touching hieroglyphic characters and watch them transform into natural elements such as wind, rain, trees and mountains.

The last theme is Space.
Stepping into the 'Crystal Universe' is like entering into a galaxy world.
This stunning artwork is created with teamLab’s Interactive 4-D Vision technology and more than 170,000 LED lights, giving the illusion of stars moving in space.

Overall, this is a interactive place with very good experiences.
I can see not only kids but adults are enjoying too.
Moreover, this is also a great and fun family bonding activities.
