Concluding 2015

2015 wasn't a very smooth journey for me.
I understand that there are ups and downs every year.
As I read my past summary of the year, this year seems to be the worst year of my 28 years of living.
I struggled too much with life, work and school.

At one point, I feel that everything seems crumbling down on me.
The only strength that I got was from working and studying to numb myself.
Others seems surreal to me.
I hoped that everything is unreal so that I won't suffer.
Perhaps it's my fate to make me learn a lesson from these.
Well, luckily I got up my knees and brought myself forward.
I just felt that I got to help myself because no one can help me.
"You are a strong and independent woman" and "You can live without anybody", that's what my dad and Steph said to me this year.
So I guess I'll take that as words of encouragement for me.

Something positive this year is that I finally set foot in Japan!
My dream destination and I love Japan so much!
Hokkaido is really a beautiful place to be in!
My Hokkaido travelogue will be up next. :p
Other than that, I also traveled to Bandung, a brand new experience.
Looking forward to the family trip next year that already been booked few days ago.
Really excited about it because it's been so long (maybe about 10 years) since we had a family trip.
And hopefully, able to go Finland in the last quarter of 2016 too.

And since I got proposed, I guess wedding bells should be ringing soon?
However, I guess it's still better to take things slower.
Since our house will be in 2017/2018.
Honestly speaking, I'm not very ready for next stage yet.
I think I am very 矛盾。
Well, I guess come what may.

Regarding my school...
Although I had a very hard time struggling with my assignment, I am glad that I really learn a lot.
I am able to relate some of my studies to the business operation, which is a good thing.
Collected my result slip few days ago and I am relieved that I was able to progress to Term 4!
Happy to know that my course mates progressed with me too.
Next, we'll be looking forward to graduate together! :D
So yesterday, I started my first lesson for Term 4.
Anyway, hard work really paid off and money well spent.
Most importantly, I am left with 8 more months to get that valuable certificate!

Oh, I feel that I am writing better in blog, as in expressing myself in words and my language used. Do you think so? :p
I hope I am...

In hindsight, everyday is an important lesson to learn which in turn makes me be a better person.

Year 2016 will be the last year that I'll be in my twenties.
Don't really want to set so much resolution this time.
Last year, out of 6 resolutions, only accomplished 1 or 2.
Hence in 2016, I look forward to a better me.
I hope to be more positive and confident in myself. :)

Lastly, I wish you have a great year ahead too!
Happy New Year~~!!

就把那些不美好的美好锁在心中的抽屉里,让那些悬疑慢慢淡化在记忆里。

Christmas 2015

My usual Christmas celebration was to meet up with my groups of friends.
However, some of them postponed so I'll have to meet them next year.

17 Dec 2015
Met up with Veron and Steph for Christmas Exchange and catching up session at Timbre.
Most of all, we were there for the duck pizza!
But the place is really not good for chatting due to the live band.
Hence we moved to Kopitiam and la Pokka green tea.

23 Dec 2015
Met up with Hanisha at Sports Hub.
Below skyline photo was taken at Water Sport Center.
It's a nice place to see scenery. :)
We dined at Crab in da bag because she always wanted to try something like that.
Food and serve is very good!

24 Dec 2015
Christmas Eve with my dear SW.
At the usual place - JEM/Westgate area.

Christmas Day & Boxing Day
Spent the 2 day with G.
Been eating, eating and eating. -_-"
We also watched Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Presents from friends and colleagues, actually missing out the gifts from my bitches. :X
Anyway, I guess I have been good for this year so thanks for all the love. :)

And that's all about Christmas.
Hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
Bye~!

Christmas Wonderland at Garden By The Bay

On 20th December, G and I decided to go to Christmas Wonderland at Garden By The Bay.
Initially, we decided to go on Christmas Day itself.
However, we knew that it would be very crowded, so we brought forward the day to go.

We reached around 7pm when the sun is setting.

Loving the blue sky above us.

We changed 11 tokens.
Each tokens cost $2 which was very expensive!
We changed so much token because I wanted to ride the Swinging Chair and wanted to force G to take the thrilling ride with me.
However, when I was that it was for kid, I was like OMG~
Luckily, we were able to sell of 9 tokens it to another family at usual price.
The 2 tokens we played darts at one of the store and I won a small prize. Haha~

Carousel ride cost $10 per pax!!
看就好吧~

We caught the fake "snow" at about 8pm.
Its actually made up of bubbles but I still feel delighted to see it.

Both of us walked around aimlessly before heading back home.
I thought the place is beautiful.
However, things are really overpriced and there are more for the kids to enjoy.

Taipei; Taiwan 2014 - Back in Taipei

I am blogging the last Taiwan 2014 post.
Nothing much to update for Taipei city as I've been there many times.
As usual, we went to our favorite shopping spots like Ximending, Wufenpu and Shilin Night Market but open to explore some new areas of Taipei.

A pic near our stay in Kaohsiung. Beautiful plants so took an #OOTD there.

At Zuo Ying HSR station, just had to pop by 7-11 to buy some snacks as we had 1hr plus journey to Taipei.

Tried the latest Liptop tea in Original classic, I think I still prefer the Mellow Vanilla flavour.

Just had to #welfie.

This time during our Taipei stay, we selected the Arline Inn at Ximending.
It is very very convenient, very near to Ay-Chung Flour-Rice Noodle 阿宗麵線.
Room is cozy, and good enough for us.
Just that before 10pm, there are noises above us due to pub I guess.
Also, the lift to the hotel reception is rather dodgy.

On the first day in Taipei, we just go shopping at Ximending area.
Did some errands like going to Carrefour to stock up cup noodles and packet drinks.
Had our dinner at our usual Mala (馬辣) steamboat.
Then stopped by a cafe to rest and have Milk Tea.

Also bought specs. #嫌钱太多

Since BF got G-Shock craze, I decided to look out for the G-Shock store in Taipei on the 2nd day.
The nearest MRT station is ZhongXiao DunHua (忠孝敦化) station.
Since we are at Zhong Xiao DunHua area, we also dropped by Honey Creme store.
Here's a map that I did for my information.

Lunch at TONCHIN (屯京拉麵).
It was one of the recommendations when I was searching for food info.
If I am not wrong, its the 2nd time eating ramen in Taiwan.
Seriously, I don't like the ramen in Taiwan.
Don't as me why, I just don't like.

Anyway, the portion is really big.
Both BF and I couldn't even finish the pork and the noodles.

Just an #OOTD.

This is one of the interesting thing that I saw in Taipei.
Its located in Shilin Night Market.
Penis shaped cake.
Actually it was BF's friend who wanted him to buy this as a souvenir, that's how I know this quirky stuff in Taipei. LOL.

Last day in Taipei, just have to reminisce all the food and place.
Had Ah Zhong Mian Xian.

One of my HK colleague introduce me to try this D2 (Devil x Dessert) cake.
Lots of variety.

Then went to Danshui for to buy their specialty.

The sun set in Taipei/ Danshui.

As promised, done my Taiwan post within 2015. LOL~
This year I didn't go Taiwan.
Most probably next year, I also do not have plan to go Taiwan.
Due to saving up for wedding and I also want to travel to Finland for Aurora!
Hopefully, my plan to Finland during the last quarter of 2016 would fulfill.

P.S: Hokkaido travelogue next!
