NANA the anime

Finally, I’ve finished watching a total of 47 episode of NANA the anime.
Oh my god, I love the anime very much!
However, it can be continued just that the author had sickness and put the anime on hiatus.
Not sure when will the story be continued.
I hope it will be soon. :)

So the anime is about the two main characters which both name Nana - Osaki Nana and Komatsu Nana, whom each moved to Tokyo to pursue their own dream and goal.

Nana Osaki is a punk singer who wants to debut with her band, Black Stones (BLAST for short), where she is the lead vocalist and her boyfriend, Ren, is the bassist. Nana and Ren have lived together as lovers since she was 16. When Ren is offered a chance to debut in Tokyo as a replacement member of the popular band, Trapnest (Toranesu in Japanese), Nana chooses to continue on with BLAST and to cultivate her own career instead of following Ren, as she has too much ambition to simply be a rockstar's girlfriend. She eventually leaves for Tokyo at the age of twenty to start her musical career.

Nana Komatsu, the other Nana, has a habit of falling in love at first sight all the time, and depending on other people to help her. When her friends, and then her boyfriend, leave for Tokyo, she decides to join them a year later after having saved enough money at the age of twenty.

The two Nanas meet on a train by chance, both on their way to Tokyo. After a string of coincidences, they come to live together in an apartment numbered 707 (nana means "seven" in Japanese). Despite having contrasting personalities and ideals, the Nanas respect each other and become close friends.
Nana Osaki gives Nana Komatsu the nickname Hachi (after Hachikō, because she is weak-willed and has characteristics that resemble a puppy, and also as a joke since hachi means "eight" and nana means "seven" in Japanese).

While BLAST begins to gain popularity at live gigs, the two Nanas face many other issues together, especially in the areas of friendship and romance. The story of Nana revolves heavily around the romance and relationships of the two characters as one seeks fame and recognition while the other seeks love and happiness.

Good afternoon!
I realized that nowadays I didn’t update much about myself in my blog but just the update of the activities that I had done.
I had so much to say, so much thoughts but I just don’t know how to pen it down.
I’m really not good at words and also maybe some stuffs are just redundant to blog it out.
Usually I am also tweeting most of my rants already so I didn’t bothered to write it here again.

So now, it’s my exam period.
Its been so long I’m having this exam mood.
Actually to be honest, I’ve been studying a little.
I still cannot change my burning midnight oil or ‘hugging the Buddha’s leg’ attitude, thus I’m quite worried that I would flung.
If I would fail, I would blame it on myself. :(
Just gotta do my best for it!

I haven update to you on my keyboard lesson!
I’m enjoying every lesson that I attended.
Actually, I got the nice song sheet, for example, 童話 by 光良.
I can play it well at the start but not very well at the ending part.
I really hope I can master it well so that I can play it for you all to listen ok?

Work is like usual.
The current trainee still have about 1 month more with us then another new trainee will come here.
Still no news on new staff coming in but I can see that they are trying to find one now.
The new staff they are recruiting is to help them on sales so I guess it’s not about helping me.

Oh yeah, the Starbucks promo last week, half price for all Frappe, did you all know it?
I’m sorry I didn’t share with you here but if you are following me on twitter, I’ve been raving about it!
My boss treated us twice in the week – Wednesday and Friday.
Didn’t expect him to treat twice seriously but its good!

So yah, you can see that I’m like nothing much to update because most of them are really usual stuff.
Well, I can say is that I’m going on a short trip on August to Penang with BF, Sheauwei and Andrew!
Penang is Sheauwei’s hometown so she will be bringing us around.
I will be asking her to bring me to visit her mum and dad too!
She told me that she is borrowing her sis’s car and could drive us around on the weekend.
I’m so excited now! Can’t wait for good food and shopping!
Tickets have been booked and it’s not cheap because I am going on the peak period.
I didn’t know that for budget airline, we need to pay for the seat as well!
Are you serious? God gracious!
I feel that I got cheated! Damn!
Now I can link my thoughts to this video below already.



Anyway, I really wanted to change blogskin but I am really busy and lazy. Haha..
Okok I will find time to do it.

Cupcakes from Shiberty's Sweets

Ordered cupcakes from Jessica; Shiberty's Sweets.
Her cupcakes looks so pretty always tempting me to get one.
Finally i got it and tried.
It really tastes not bad. :)

Steph drove BF and I over to Jessica's house at Simei to collect it.
Luckily we had Steph to fetch us there if not we would need to carry a big box of cupcakes to PS.
We really didnt expect sucha a big box. LOL!

We straight away tried one of the cupcakes in her car!
Then she drove us back to BF house to put the cupcakes into small boxes for her to conveniently bring back home.
After which, we headed to PS for our movie!


Yup, we watched Pirate of the Caribbean On Stranger Tides.
The mermaid from the show is really pretty~
Anyway, it a nice movie.

After the movie, met up with his mum and dad to Kovan for dinner/ supper.
Ended the day like this.
It seems like Sunday when its Saturday.

Escape Theme Park

Thank god for Public Holiday on a Tuesday and Happy Vesak Day!
On this day, BF and I went Escape Theme Park.
Can you believe it’s my first time in there?
Escape Theme Park has opened for a few years and I have not gone in before!
Anyway, I guess this will be the first and last time I am going there.
I love exciting rides, but at Escape Theme Park, there weren't much of it.
USS rides are my cup of tea!











That day, the weather is very good as you see that the sky is very blue (edited) and cloudy.
However, it's really hot.
The scorching sun is making me tanned already.

The car kept bumping made me a lil giddy.


Rested at BK and had ice-cream due to the hot weather.

We played like 4 rides and went in Haunted house only.
Haha..
Escape Theme Park are for kids and family.
Definitely not for me!
I shall try the rides in USS soon!

L'oreal Private Sale & FAST FIVE!

Met up with Engsang at around 4pm and we headed down to town.
This lady really knows how to drag time! LOL!
I seldom waste my weekend like this. :(
We went Plaza Singapore to get Fast Five ticket before we head down to Concorde Hotel for the L'oreal Private Sale fair.
Her friend got an extra ticket and she brought me in. :D
However, by the time we reached the place, most of the stuffs were sold out already.
In future, we shall go early!
Anyway, the private sale sells brands like Lancome, Biotherm, Vichy, Shu Uemera so on and so fore.
The prices there are of 50% discount!
She bought me a 2 way cake Lancome foundation for my late birthday present!
FYI this is Lancome Maqui Miracle Foundation.
I love it so much! :)


Pretty Casing



Because our show started at 9.20pm, we still had much time, so we went to eat dinner then had cake at Secret Recipe.
Plaza Singapore really got nothing much to shop!!
Still, we just walked around at the basement area.

Around 45minutes before the show starts, we went to Gongcha area to sit down while waiting for the time to pass...







Yup, we sneaked Gongcha in the threatre. ;p


Now now, about FAST FIVE!
I love everything about it.
The show is awesome!!
However, i can tell you that there's not much racing for this show except for the last part.

If I am not wrong, I did watch Fast and Furious 4.
But I cant remember the story really.
I guess the show is not linked. HAHA


Oh, Gal Gadot is so sexy and cool in the show!
I love and envy her body. Haha..


I guess other than Gal Gadot, it would be Vin Diesel that people would drool for? LOL.
He's the main actor and the coolest guy there.
Actually, i am not the sort to admire this kind of guy but i admire his cool attitude. Haha..

So go watch it if you have not ok?

Birthday Trip - Redang - Day 2 & 3

So on the day 2, we woke up really early like 730AM.
Usually, when we go for holiday, we don't wake up late because we don't want to waste time sleeping!
My point of view is that if you want to sleep then I suggest you do not go for holiday; you might as well sleep at home right?
Anyway, so we wake up at around 730AM, we washed up and prepared.
Then we headed out for our breakfast at the restaurant.

Because we were having snorkeling activity at 9AM, we can’t afford to get too much.
Anyway, snorkeling for 3 stops is about RM75 (around SGD30) there.
I wonder if it’s expensive?

It’s our first time and I'm really excited!
So we waited for the instruction then a few guys brought a group of us out to the sea.

Our first stop was the Turtle Bay.
We really saw a big sea turtle in the water but not very clear.
The turtle went up to the shore to lay their eggs so we weren’t allowed to be near there.


It's the first time we went into the sea and donned in a life jacket as well!
Even though I know how to swim, I was afraid to swim without a life jacket.
Maybe because the ocean is very big, and I didn't have this kind of experience before so I am not daring enough!
However, swimming with life jacket is very tedious.


Anyway the water is damn salty!
I drank a few mouthful of it.
Also, you will feel stingy feeling on your legs and arms maybe due to the saltwater which the body cannot take it?

2nd stop was Teluk Mak Simpang.
The guys throw bread into the water to feed the fishes.
A lot of fishes swam towards me.. Very fun!

The last stop was Pasir Akar.
Because boyfriend couldn't swim around so most of the time I stayed around the water.
But the last stop, one of the guys took me around to see different things.
He took a sea mushroom and I tried touching it!
It's hard. HAHA!
If I don't remember it wrongly, it's below image. ^~^


He also swam under the water and showed me some coral reefs.
Most of the corals were dead. It’s sad I don't know why...
If not it would be very beautiful.
So, he brought me quite far out of the boat.
When the boat gave signal that they are leaving, I panicked.
I couldn't continue swimming because I was really tired.
Luckily the guy who brought me out managed to help me back to the boat. -.-"

Actually if you have a waterproof camera, I recommend you bring that because the images taken will be more pretty yah... :)

Woke up before 7AM in the morning.
Shagged but still got to drag out feet as the check out time is 8.30AM.

Overall, I had fun even though there's nothing much to do.
This kind of trip for me could only last the most 3D2N.
Otherwise, I will bored to death i guess. LOL!
Still, I might go back again but till time, i will stay at the other beach - Pasir Panjang beach, which also know as the Long Beach.
Hopefully when I go back, I will get to see beautiful sunrise and sunset!

Oh ya, by the way I haven mention that the service at Berjaya Redang Resort is great!
Staffs are really friendly and helpful which makes you feels home there.

Alright, that's all about my birthday trip!
