Fringe Braid Hairstyles

I always love french braid but I am bad at it.
I learn by watching YouTube videos.
Just search braids tutorial and you can find many videos.
From there, you can learn from the Youtuber on how to braid.
I find that braid your own hair is difficult so I think that the Youtuber are really good!

There are many types of braiding hairstyles and they are really pretty!
One of the type is the waterfall braiding but my hair is quite short now, so its isn't easy to do it.

So here's some pics of myself with my DIY fringe braid.
Its my first attempt and I think its not bad.
What do you think? :)

JB on Saturday

Last Saturday, BF and I headed to JB because I wanna get my nails done.
The diamonds on my nails dropped until cannot drop anymore so it was time to get it done!
Before getting my nails done, we went to City Square to have our lunch.

FYI, City Square had done their renovation and now there are more restaurants to try!
One of these restaurants we tried is this Japanese restaurant called Kurotomon (黑燈門).
Well, it's like another ramen shop..
The restaurant capacity is quite small but there were many people queuing to try.
We waited for about 30mins to get a seat for 2.

Our Beverage.
The green bottle is an energy drink while the pink bottle is a sparkling drink.

This smoke duck is good!
The meat is soft and tender and it doesn't taste like duck meat.

Both BF and I got this set of Ramen call Kinryu Motoaji, Gold (Original).
I think the broth is tasty! However the noodle is so-so only..
Cannot compared to Ippudo Ramen.
Still, I think its not bad. :)

After our lunch, we took a bus down to Holiday Plaza to do my nails.
My patience BF waited for me for about 2hrs! :D
No complaint at all.. where to find this kind of guy? Lolol~
I can see him watching his show until he fell asleep.

By the way, here's my colourful and cutesy nails done at Opps Nails and Makeup House.

Both actually are non-Gelish nails.
I don't really like doing Gelish because they usually scrape off the paint when removing.
I find it quite harmful to my nails though its long lasting than OPI.
Did it at RM69.90 (Approx S$28).
It should be cheaper than usual price as I got a voucher during the CNY period.

After which, we went to KSL to restock some food before heading back to Singapore for dinner.
Its actually a routine whenever we go to JB.
Moreover, the exchange rate for us, Singaporean, are quite good nowadays. Hee..

Ok, before I end this entry.
A half face of me.
Make up for the day~

Saturday Out!

Ohai!
It's Monday again.
And usually we dreaded because its another long week of work. D;
Haven been blogging properly because really nothing much happen.
So, I just update my usual weekend out.

On Saturday, I woke up really early in the morning to accompany my bro for Pre-Lasik Assessment Test.
I don't remember we hanging out together, just the 2 of us, before.
I actually thought that we might be 2 woodblocks, waiting for his test and consultation but I was wrong....
My bro is actually very talkative. LOL!
Just like my sis, we can talk at almost anything which I didn't expect.
They really love sharing about their own life and work experience which I seldom do that to them.
Anyway, it was a nice bonding. Haha..
So my bro is going to do his LASIK this Friday and I gonna accompany him again.
Hope everything goes well. :D

So it was IT Fair week and they first held it in MBS.
The exhibitions only 2 levels and the space was quite big.
Crowded as usual.
BF and I went like almost IT Fair.. -_-"

Saw this on SGAG which I find it interesting so I post it here.
Which category do you belong? Haha..

So I was looking for USB3.0 HDD but there was not much choices of brand.
I've already lose heart of Western Digital because it disappoints me twice. Sigh~
I was looking at Seagate though which cost $95 for 1TB.
However, my bro said something about the cable so I didn't buy it in the end.
BF and I headed to Funan IT Mall.
In the end, I got the Buffalo brand, which my bro told me that its a better brand.
I got it at a much expensive price so I really hope its good and can last me longer..

After our long day of walking, we settled down at Hifumi Japanese Restaurant for our dinner.
Its a new restaurant opened at Plaza Singapore.
There are other few new restaurants and I wish to try them all! :D

There was long queue, but we didnt wait long to get a seat in the restaurants.
Luckily the people in front of us came in big group.
Both of us ordered a set meal with all-you-can-eat appetizer.
They have a bar with all the appetizers for you to select.
Below are what BF took.

The potato salad and soba is nice.
The others I don't eat. Haha..
They have gyoza as well, which is nice too.

Chawamushi. Can take as many as you want!

My salmon set.

BF's Teriyaki Chicken set.

Boyfriend felt that the portion for the set meal is small.
So if we didn't have the appetizers, we won't be full.
Overall, the food there is so-so..
Maybe we should try the ala carte menu instead of the set meal.
Might or might not patronize again.

After our dinner, we went back home as I was super super tired.
I KO quite early that night. Haha..

Alrite till here..
Ciao~

The Great And Powerful Oz

Met up with Eng Sang for dinner at Northpoint.
The dear girl suffered quite a bit. :(
Hope she get well soon..

After encountering her situation, I feel that life's too short to waste so much time.
Anything can happen anytime.
Everyday we read news reports on people pass on.
No matter how they want to continue living, they just couldn't anymore.
On the other hand whereby we are the more fortunate ones, we should cherish the time and what we have.
That's why I am trying to fulfill all the wishes I can as long as I am alive. :)

So after our dinner, we went to catch a movie.
Actually, The Great and Powerful Oz is not in my Movie-To-Watch list.
Since, my dear girl wanna watch it, I accompanied her.

Surprisingly, this is a good movie.
I even enjoyed this movie more than the Hobbit.
The flying Monkey is funny and the Porcelain China Girl is so cute and pretty.
At first, you thought the bad witch was the good and but actually its the other way round.

The Oz looks like a paradize to me.
Always love fantasy movies due to the beautiful graphics. ^^

Worth the watch for me. :D

9-9-81

Participated Xinmsn movie ticket giveaway for 9-9-81 and won a pair of tickets. Thanks Xinmsn!
So yesterday, BF and I went to watch the movie.

After watching the movie, I wouldn't say the movie is great though..
Only some parts will startled you and some parts the audiences find it funny..

The story plot is like Ju On whereby they tell you story by story of each characters.
Then you have to pieces up the story yourselves.
Actually, there's link to each stories so you won't get confused.

I guess it bores the audiences when watching because they seems to have quite a few stories of the characters and we didn't when its going to end..
I can hear other people expressed like "errr... there's some more characters?". Lol~

Well, to be honest, I feel that its not really worth watching. :)

New Built Desktop

Last Saturday, my Bro with my Bf and I went to Sim Lim Square to customize a CPU.
Luckily my bro is good at IT stuff so he could give good advise for customizing CPU.
FYI, he built his own desktop and also 2 of his friend's desktop is under his help.
So I can really trust my brother ya.
Really thanks to my Bro for the help. ^~^

The shop owner was actually busy to help us fix the CPU so my bro fixed it.
And the shop owner help out with the cable management because my bro is not good at it.
Happy to have capable bro. Hahaha...
*ahem* First time I praise him. :X

\
Inner part of my CPU before cable management.

I bought my Samsung LED monitor on January and finally I can use it after 2 months.
I'm loving the big big screen with full HD view.

Zeng zeng zeng zeng!!!

Here's my CPU with Red Phantom NZXT casing.
So hot and pretty, dont you think so? :D

So you ask about the price?
CPU + Monitor, in total I spend about 1.6K to 1.7K.
I guess its gonna be worthy as the life span of the desktop will be longer than a laptop.

Here, a part of my room, which will be my new space to use my computer. ^^
Do look out for more incoming posts in future.. Hehheh~

Short Update

Hello...
I know my blog seems dead now but I am still alive. Haha..
Haven have got anything much to update though.
I still have an outdated post on Bangkok trip which I have yet to start.
I just lack of motivation after my laptop went dead last Dec.
Anyway, this coming Saturday I am going to build up a CPU with the help of my brother!
I am sooooo excited!
I already bought a Samsung 23-inch LED monitor.
With that, I'm sure I gonna be more motivated to blog again. LOL~

So last Sunday was the last day of CNY and it was also my sister's Lunar Birthday so my family had steamboat again.
It was my fourth steamboat for the month.
I guess my next steamboat still be in May at Taiwan because BF said he wanna tried one if it at Cingjing.
So we'll see how again.
Currently still preparing the itinerary for our trip.
Counting down to about 2 months more and I hope it gonna be good! :D

Alrite, for the time being, it will be like this..
See you soon!

Nuffnang 6th Birthday Bash!

YES! On 27 Feb 2013 is Nuffnang 6th Birthday already~
In a blink of an eye, its another year, growing older just like me.
But Nuffnang is still younger than me lah.. *envy* Hahaha..
I believe Nuffnang will progress better and better when they grow older and older. :D

I was invited to their 5th Birthday Bash last year and really wish to be there again this year! (I hope!)
I miss the fun, laughter, and the foodddddd... =DDD

Now, let me tell you WHY I LOVE NUFFNANG.

1. New Experiences and Cool Events.
Yeap! The events I attend to gave me new experiences and even knowledge too.
For example, I went to the Prive Clinic event and learn more about about fillers which can help re-contouring the face.
As a woman who loves being beautiful, I find it really helpful to me. :)

2. Get To Know Awesome People.
By attending events, I got to make new friends with the other bloggers in Singapore.
Not only that, the nuffies too!

Blogger from Nuffnangis5 Birthdays bash.

Friendly Nuffies that I've met last year at the Holland Village Makan session.

3. CONTESTS!
Last year, I joined the 7-Eleven Blogging Contest and was one of the Top 12.
Even though I didn't emerge into the Top 3, I had fun doing the contest. :D

My BFF accompanying me to 7-Eleven Get-together and Award Presentation.

4. FREEBIES TO TRY!!!
Don't tell me you don't love freebies?!
As a Singaporean, we all love things that are free no? LOL! *say until so buey paiseh, wtf*

Goodies that I got to try and love it which I continue to buy it for self usage. ^-^

5. $$$ MOOLAH $$$
Last but not least, we get to earn moolah just by blogging! Cool right~

So here's my shoutout!
I want to be part of Nuffnang’s 6th Birthday Bash at Ballymoons. ^~^
See you and Thank you for the great things you gave me.
HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY, NUFFNANG~

Valentine's Day~

On Valentine's Day itself, Boyfriend and I dine at Melt - The World Cafe at Mandarin Oriental Hotel.
It is an international buffet with wide selection of food ranging from Japanese food to Asian food to South Indian food and many more..

Because we reached the place quite early, I managed to take good photos of the food whereby people haven start taking the food to eat. Haha..
Oh I love the photos of the desserts that I took! :D
Anyway, I didn't take every food, I am selective. :p

Be warn, heavy food photos below.
Don't blame me if you have a empty stomach now.

This an outdoor BBQ section.
I saw a piglet being BBQ inside the oven. So pitiful. :(

A rare sight of strawberry fondue here!

I am not a fan of fondue even though I love chocolate.
Still this strawberry fondue attracted me to try it.

Waffles for you? :)

A series of our photos after having a full dinner.

Overall, the dinner was not bad.
We didn't try everything though so the price for us was not worthy.
Moreover, its Valentine's Day so its more expensive than the usual days...
Well, its the company that counts. :)

P/S: All photos taken by iPhone 5 so the front camera is not very strong with the dim lights.
