JB with Veron

Imprompt meetup with Veron to JB.
This girl always like to ask me for a meetup suddenly.
And this is one rare day when I have no advance plan so I could meet up which surprised her. Haha this bitch.. =/

Its the first time here I post image on my new hairstyle after my trip. ^^

Met her at 12pm and we got in at about 1.30pm.
Not too much crowd on a Friday, moreover on a Deevapali eve.


We had Arashi at KSL for brunch



After lunch, we went to Holiday Plaza, Nail Studio to do our nails.
Yah, thats the purpose for heading in..


Guess which is who's hand?
Anyway, I got the idea of doing stained glass nails so I brought a image for the manicurist to design for me.
But my bitch kept on couldn't decide on what she wanna do so in the end she did the same design as me. LOL~
So actually if you look at our nails design properly, there's a difference.


This is my left hand design which look nicer.
Gel Design cost RM65 plus classic manicure RM20.
Total of RM90 approx SGD36. Totally worth it!

After which, we went shopping around before heading back Singapore which is home...
Alrite, ending post with our camho~ Bye!

JB on Saturday

Last Saturday, BF and I headed to JB because I wanna get my nails done.
The diamonds on my nails dropped until cannot drop anymore so it was time to get it done!
Before getting my nails done, we went to City Square to have our lunch.

FYI, City Square had done their renovation and now there are more restaurants to try!
One of these restaurants we tried is this Japanese restaurant called Kurotomon (黑燈門).
Well, it's like another ramen shop..
The restaurant capacity is quite small but there were many people queuing to try.
We waited for about 30mins to get a seat for 2.

The green bottle is an energy drink while the pink bottle is a sparkling drink.


This smoke duck is good!
The meat is soft and tender and it doesn't taste like duck meat.


Both BF and I got this set of Ramen call Kinryu Motoaji, Gold (Original).
I think the broth is tasty! However the noodle is so-so only..
Cannot compared to Ippudo Ramen.
Still, I think its not bad. :)

After our lunch, we took a bus down to Holiday Plaza to do my nails.
My patience BF waited for me for about 2hrs! :D
No complaint at all.. where to find this kind of guy? Lolol~
I can see him watching his show until he fell asleep.

By the way, here's my colourful and cutesy nails done at Opps Nails and Makeup House.




Both actually are non-Gelish nails.
I don't really like doing Gelish because they usually scrape off the paint when removing.
I find it quite harmful to my nails though its long lasting than OPI.
Did it at RM69.90 (Approx S$28).
It should be cheaper than usual price as I got a voucher during the CNY period.


After which, we went to KSL to restock some food before heading back to Singapore for dinner.
Its actually a routine whenever we go to JB.
Moreover, the exchange rate for us, Singaporean, are quite good nowadays. Hee..

Nails for CNY 2013!

I went to Malaysia to get my nails done with Jingwen.
Engsang wasn't able to join us as she was hospitalized. :(

Due to the peak period, many nail salons were full but lucky for us we found a salon that doesn't need to wait until 5pm to get our nails done.
However, their busy schedule also made us wait long.
In the end, when we done our nails, it was already 7pm. D;

Anyhow, still happen to get nails done at cheaper price than in SG.
I did manicure with OPI Gelish color and pedicure with normal OPI color.

I got a photo of the nails that I wanna do and showed it to the manicurist.
And she helped me to design it out.
I wouldn't say its very nicely done also lah..
Shall try other nail salon in future..


By the way, this was what I wanted to do...


Here the final product of my nails.
Look very Vday-ish right? Haha..
Cost me about RM256 for mani and pedi which is approximate to SGD106.
Quite cheap already as compared to SG, if you want to do here.
You can go to Holiday Plaza in Johor Bahru to get your nails and hair done at a cheaper price.
Many Singaporean went there too.
The place is easy to go too, you can just take a bus down.

I'm Vain Like That.

I dont deny I'm a vain girl.
Which girl arent vain right?
Seriously, I'm spending near $400 for this coming CNY!
Heart super pain now. HAHA!
But I'm still lovin' the things I did.
So I guess its worthy right?!

In the noon, went in to JB with Sis and her friend, Leanne.
Asked BF along because I will not be worry as there's a guy with us. Hehe..
BF waited patiently for 2hr for us to done our nails! :D

I'm very satisfied with the new nails.
By the way, we did at the same place last month.
Its called Nail Studio inside Holiday Plaza.
On that day itself, it was so packed and their appointment are full till 8PM!
We were lucky enuff to get a spot.
Moreover, they are increasing their price with effect from 9 Jan 2012 ~ 22 Jan 2012 due to CNY.
Count ourselves lucky again!

By the way, I did this design for RM208, estimated in SGD is $86.
This time more expensive the previous because of the 3D nail art and the diamonites. :D

So my perm is still lasting after 4 days. HAHA.

Sigh sigh...
Being a vain girl is so expensive!
We want nice hair, nice nails, pretty clothing, make sure our skin is perfect, make up to conceal the ugliness and the list goes on.. LOL!
Is it we girls are so not confident or what?
I'm not sure..
I just now we born as girls, and we are just like that. :p

JB with the Family

Starting this post with pictures of me and my sis!
Its been so long since I take photos with her. :D







Sis asked me to accompany her to JB to do nails as she said its cheap doing in there.
When mum knows about it, she wants to tag along.
So, I brought them in as its their first time going by bus.

From City Square, we cabbed down to Holiday Plaza for RM8.
Holiday Plaza was said to be the popular shopping centre before City Square was built.


We did our nails at Nail Studio located at the highest floor.
I like the shop concept.
It is big and pretty.


This is my current nail design!
I love it.
I only do manicure, this is gelish.
Total cost is RM115, estimated SGD$47, which is pretty cheap!
If I do in SG, it will cost me more than $65 already..

We walked around Holiday Plaza.
Actually there's nothing much to shop and the shopping centre is quite old.
However, there are a lot of salons.
So I am wondering, maybe I can do my hair there since we are going back next month to do nails for CNY!

Its really big!
Kinda regret eating this because its the culprit for my sickness now. :(

Anyway, when we went out of Holiday Plaza, we saw KSL is just nearby, so we walked over to shop.
Mum and Sis bought load of stuff because after the currency exchange, the stuff is definitely cheaper than SG by few dollars so they tempted to buy the stuff.
As for me, I didnt get anything. Haha..

We settled our dinner at Seoul Garden at City Square before heading back home.
Spent about 10 hours in JB.
Felt so tired after going back home.
I guess mum and sis are happy with their buys in JB. LOL~

New Gelish Nail Look!

Loving this design which i wanted to do for so long!

Nowadays im loving this color coral red!
My mean BF said that my nail color is National Day color! So notti!
Anyway, i think the nail salon is good, i might patronize again.
FYI, it along Liang Seah Street; name of the shop is U beau. :)

Pink & Gold

Did this myself!
I remembered i did this colour combination before in a manicure shop and i am totally in love with it.
Its very difficult to paint with my left hand because i am not a left-handed person.
Thus, my right nails doesnt look nice.
Maybe I should practice more so my left hand will get use to paint the right hand. ^^

Dinner @ Watami; ION

Before meeting up with Sheau Wei, i went for pedicure.
I need it badly as my heels' skin cracked like hell, and i'm feeling very troubled about it.
Actually, I take good care of my hands more than my feet.
Thought it would take 1hr to finish, but it lasted for about 1h30min.
Anyhow, i still quite satisfied by the service.



I felt bad as i was late meeting SheauWei.
Wanted to cab down to Orchard, but the taxi stand was full of people.
In the end, i rushed to take train.
Late by 20mins.
Before meeting, we've already decided to eat at Watami Japanese Casual Dining.
We really love and miss eating the food there.
There were a lot of people waiting.
We queued for almost an hour plus for our turn to come.

This time, we also tried new dishes.
The dishes we ordered is very nice except for the dessert - Chocolate Parfait.


Salmon Sashimi, haven eat this for quite sometime.




This is a new dish that we ordered.
1st time trying and we totally in love with it!
If i am not wrong, it's called the Tompeiyaki.
omelette, inside with pork or chicken. I couldnt remember which already.


SheauWei is enjoying it!

Until the fire is burn out, then we could eat.

After cooked, the helpful waitress helped to mix the food with the rice.
This dish is called Kaisen & Tori Pot Rice.
I like it. The taste is just nice for me.

I enjoyed the dinner as well as catching up with her.
We've already plan for the Zoo trip.
We'll arrange a meetup with Shari and her daughter as well. ^^
Couldnt wait.

Taiwan trip is getting nearer as well!

Just Wednesday...

Feeling very bored at work.
Since lunch time, i was left alone in the office.
I took a photo around.

After work, i met up with Veron.
Had our dinner, then she went to get her stuff.
Stopped by manicure shop at Bugis Street Lvl2 so we did it.


Loving my new colours.
But hate their express manicure as i dont think they do a good job.

After which, we slacked at Iluma subway.
Chit chat, gossip.. watever..
I cant remember how long we haven do this already..
Anyway, backed home at around 1030pm~
