Aprilskin Color Cream Review

Hello, this post is a review on Aprilskin Color Cream.
As you can see from the above photo, there are many choice of colors.
I bought blueberry, Ash Latte, Avocado and highlighter.

About 1 weeks before Lunar New Year this year, I decided to dye my hair myself rather than going salon.
This is to save cost.
Since I bought these a months ago but hasn't use any yet so taking this chance to do-it-myself as my blue hair had faded to green.



Previous blue hair turn ashy green.


After dying, you can see it turn dark blue.


And this is the outcome under sunlight.


Really love the outcome!

Verdict: I really love the color!
However the downside is that the color didn't last more than 2 weeks. :(
My hair turn ashy green again as shown in the picture above.
But I guess different people will experience different thing.
Maybe next, I will try Ash Latte myself. :)

Stila Makeup

I am sure many ladies have heard of Stila make up and seen the product in stores like Sephora.
As for me, I've heard of it, but have not tried the products before.
While researching for the product, I chanced upon Zalora where they also sell Stila makeup.

After looking at some of the product that interests me, I would choose the One Step Correct and the One Step Bronze to try.


One Step Correct is three-in-one serum that contains three color-correcting, moisturizing brighteners for flawless looking skin.

Both descriptions of the products really attracts me.
I do have uneven skin tone and so the One Step Correct is definitely for me and would love to try it.

Hair Care Products

Personally, I feel that hair care is very important and essential for me.
I love changing my hair from long to short and also dying it with different colors.
However, if I do not keep my hair healthy, I won't be able to do so.
I must say that I am quite lucky to born with a thicker hair.

So my usual hair care routine would be other than the usual shampooing and putting on hair conditioner, once a week, I will also pamper my hair by putting on hair mask or hair treatment.





Upon searching the hair care products in Zalora, I saw this LIVING PROOF No Frizz Series, I think to myself that this is for me!
As you see that the weather in Singapore is so humid.
Sometimes due to the weather condition, our hair will become dull too.
This series should help to do the prevention.
So I guess this series should suit many women.

HABA Firming Lift Up Beauty

Bought my 1 month supply (30 bottles) of HABA Firming Life Up Beauty Collagen to try.
I like the taste of it.
Out of all collagen I tried till date, I love DHC and HABA.

HABA has 2 beauty collagen - one is the Firming and one is whitening.
I need the firming one more than whitening and that's how my decision was made.

Firming Life Up Beauty consist of the below benefits:
Placenta extract - Increase skin firmness and minimize visible pores while fighting fatigue at the same time.
Astaxanthin - Helps collagen production while blocking the enzyme that decomposes collagen at the same time.
Pomegranate Seed Powder Extract - Contains Estrone, a kind of Estrogen.

The Saem Dr Beauty Cell Renew Review

I first started using The Saem Dr Beauty Cell Renew Toner and Emulsion when I got the samples from Korea.
I immediately fell in love with the product after I using it.
However, a small 5ml bottles for both couldn't last me long, when i'm using day and night. :(
Thus, I searched online to see whether I could find one with better price since Singapore are not selling The Saem products.
Finally, I got 1 set of The Saem Dr Beauty Cell set in Korea Gmarket.
Yes, I bought it from Korea Gmarket not Qoo10 Singapore.
I was actually hesitating to buy it or not from Korea Gmarket but lucky I have and happily using it daily.


The set looks like this


On your left, its the Toner and Emulsion with 2 travel size bottles and on your right it BB cream and eye cream.

Toner Ingredient:

Review
My skin absorbs he Toner and Emulsion really quickly without feeling oily nor sticky at all.
That's one of the reason why I likes it because I really dislike that feeling on my face.
Moreover, the product has a very nice fragrant.

The Saem Dr Beauty Cell Renew series has improved my skin condition very well.
Prior to this, I was using DRx products but I guess the products doesn't suits me well even though many bloggers are raving it.
I had outbreaks and even whiteheads on my face when using DRx products. Sigh~
In the end, I spent a bomb wasting those DRx products which I cannot finish and I gave it away. *heartpain*

Well its fine now that I have The Saem Dr Beauty Cell Renew!
I haven had outbreaks since I'm back from Korea and my skin condition is improving~


This was taken on the last day of my Korea trip back in October 2013.
You can see a very obvious pimple on left side of my face (in actual the right side of my face).
And tiny pops on my forehead.


And this is how I look now (just taken). LOL
Better complexion even though my dark eye circles is only thing that is bothering me now.. -_-

I hope The Saem can be brought into Singapore!
Definitely will be happier if I can buy the products directly from Singapore!
Totally love The Saem products.

Korea Haul

Back from Korea for about 2weeks and still missing the place!
I most miss would be the shopping of cosmetics and skincare products.
Still cant get over that I haven buy enough of the stuffs and some samples I tried from them, made me want to buy the actual products!

Well, this post gonna be a post of my haul of skincare and cosmetic that i got in Korea.


Loving the SAEM products after my korea trip!
Some of the products I will review it when the time comes.
And you can see my 3 bottles Rice Water Bright Cleansing Foam.
I've been using it for years already and its really good!
Stocking up as it is really cheap!!! Singapore selling S$19.90/bottle while Korea is selling at KRW6900 which is approx S$8.00.

Leader's Insolution mask in Korea selling at Olive Young only!
Said to be No.1 in Korea too!
Before heading to Korea I try searching for information where to buy these and we chanced upon it at Olive Young.
I was soooooooooooo happy when I found it. MUST BUY!!
And duh buying in Korea is much more cheaper than in Watson Singapore for S$3.50/pcs. *Feeling cheated again*


Other masks products and some I'm giving out to friends. :)
And oh the panda eye mask was from a brand call Beyond.
It was said to be best selling.
From Day 1 when I was in Korea, it was out of stock until the day before I left and finally they stocked up.
Since it was said to be best selling, so we buy to try.
Bought 1 packet for boyfriend as requested by him.
Anyway, I have yet to try.
I shall review when I try it next time~


Bought lots of foot peeling mask back too. Haha~
My heels always cracked so I always buy foot mask to make my foot baby smooth.
Buying at Qoo10 or Singapore would be expensive so I bought many many back from Korea. LOL!

I'm currently using the 2nd set of samples and have been using for 2 weeks already and I really can see the improvement of my skin!
Wanna buy the actual set after I finish all the samples~
Shall try finding online though it will be more expensive than buying it in Korea.
But its better than nothing lah.. Haha~




My totally bare face.
No much breakout and my face is really smooth.
I never had this kind of good skin before since I don really use skincare product previously.
Now I gonna be more hardworking to be more beautiful! :p

Eyebrow Embroidery

Hi.

Can you tell that I am not having make up on for the above photo?

Haha you might be able to tell due to my terrible eyebags. D:

But anyway, that not the main point..

My main point is that I had eyebrows embroidery!

People said that eyebrows are window to your face, which is so true!
Whenever my eyebrows are drawn, I feel that I look more awake and not so pale.

Don't believe? I'll show you but pardon me for my face as I did not had my makeup on. :p

Haha.. I look so bare. OMG~


So this is a before and after photos of my eyebrow embroidery.


This is day 1 which I did it yesterday.
Photo taken about 1-2hours later after I done.
You can see there's a bit redness on my eyebrow.
But it subsides after I woke up the next day.


And this is the 2nd day which is today. :)

I feel satisfied with the embroidery done.
Actually, my sis did it last year and I was hesitating whether to do or not.
In the end, I decide to give it a try.
Until yesterday, I still feel that I might regret doing it.
However, after I saw the result, I was happy as well as relieved. Lol~

By the way, the pain is bearable to me.
It somehow feels like threading but its a longer duration and its like tattoo-ing your whole eyebrows.
But don't worry, they put numbing cream to lessen the pain.

FYI, I did it at Salon #1 at Bishan and is done by Amy.
You will expect 4 months plus of wait if you want her to do for you.
Cant wait for my touch up at the next session in September. ^^
