Aprilskin Color Cream Review

Hello, this post is a review on Aprilskin Color Cream.
As you can see from the above photo, there are many choice of colors.
I bought blueberry, Ash Latte, Avocado and highlighter.

About 1 weeks before Lunar New Year this year, I decided to dye my hair myself rather than going salon.
This is to save cost.
Since I bought these a months ago but hasn't use any yet so taking this chance to do-it-myself as my blue hair had faded to green.



Previous blue hair turn ashy green.


After dying, you can see it turn dark blue.


And this is the outcome under sunlight.


Really love the outcome!

Verdict: I really love the color!
However the downside is that the color didn't last more than 2 weeks. :(
My hair turn ashy green again as shown in the picture above.
But I guess different people will experience different thing.
Maybe next, I will try Ash Latte myself. :)

Cleo Hair and Make Review

After leaving my hair untouched (no cut and dye) for about 4 months, I decided to do something to my hair!
My hair has became very dry and unhealthy nowadays..
Not sure if its due to aging? (Yeah I blame everything on aging.. haha..)
So I went to try the service at Cleo Hair and Make.
As you know, Cleo Hair and Make has done many hairstyles for BongQiuQiu aka Qiuting.

Stepped into the cosy hair salon, I really love the interior design with full length mirror.
I was ushered to a seat and then waited to do my hair.
I request for haircut (just trim), color and treatment.



A 2hr haircut, color and treatment was done by Ai.
I really love the Head massage while she was washing my hair. Damn shiok!
Its been so long since I got that feeling.. I guess I really need a good massage.
When I was back to my seat after hair wash, I also got a shoulder massage. :D


The color I choose was Mint Ash.
I always like ashy tone and this is one of the color that i always want to get.
But here, the color is obvious at my bottom highlight.
I guess I can consider bleaching it to get the original shades in future. :p



Overall, As I said, i love the good massage given. I find the price for me as a Shoulder Length hair, seems to be a little pricey. I am not sure the longer hair length do cost the same as what I've done? If so, then in future when I have a very long hair length, I can come here to do my hair because usually long hair length can cost a lot! Good thing is they don't sell you any hair products and they don't have any hidden charges. :D

Review :: Babyliss PRO MiraCurl

I purchased this pink Babyliss PRO MiraCurl on Qoo10.sg for S$53.50 a few weeks ago.
I am not sure of the authenticity of it, because I didn't check it with the supplier.

When I first saw it at Korea Olive Young, I was really WOW-ed by it.
So i went to researched on it and finally got a hand on it.

Actually, I was hoping to use it on CNY but I woke up late, so I didn't get a chance to use it.
Anyway, I tried it today and here's my review. :)

Pros
1. Easy and effortless to use.
2. Will not get burned.
3. Time saving.
4. Different heat and time option for different curl type

Cons
1. Only small streaks of hair can be curled, if not your hair will get intertwined with the curler.

I advise you to read on the safety instruction before you start using it.
I don't want you to cut away your hair because your hair get stuck in the machine like I did. LOL!
Luckily I managed to get my hair out without cutting it.
Sound kinda dangerous though but if you do the right thing, I guess there should be no problem.

The Third Day

New year, new hair~ :)
I wanted to do a dip dye red but as advised that it wouldn't look nice on a short hair.
So I shall wait for my hair to grow first.
In the meantime, I highlight streaks of highlight underneath my hair.

Anyway, it my 3rd day today.
Heard a saying that 3 days, 3 months and 3 years are the crucial period that can make a person leave a job.
Well, I survived the third day.
Somehow today seems better than the first 2 days, I guess somehow my supervisor gives some encouragement and assurance that makes me feel better in the morning?
Still, I have some other worries...
I just hope I can survived till the last day.

Throwback to Last Weekend

Hihi~
Had been busy with work and feeling stress out this week.
After back home from work, I had to do up my itinerary and also I do my handover work. -_-"
Oh ya, we finalized the hotel stay just yesterday..
So I didn't have much time to blog.
But its okay, here I am, a blog post of last weekend happening.

I had a new haircut again.
Trimmed my fringe to bangs and finally tried red color dye on myself.
Not really a fan of red hair but I got bored of my usual brownish or ashy tone so I just wanna try something new.
And I think I look not bad when I had makeup on.
But I look quite like shit without makeup on. Hahaha.. =X






Bought and tried a new color contact lens, tri-tone brown but it looks like green in the photo.
By the way, all photos taken 1 day after my haircut and hair dye.

So last Saturday, Boyfriend and I had our usual hang out.
Tokyo Auto Salon was held last week and boyfriend had been eager-ed to go see all the cars and pretty girls, so I accompanied him to go.
Entry fee was $25/pax and he paid for mine. LOL.
We stayed there for about 3hrs viewing different cars, pretty girls and we also caught a glimpse of AKB48, the popular Japanese girl group.
We also saw many cars being custom-built and that look really cool.
I didn't took any photos from the show and the photos are in boyfriend's camera.
Not really a fan of these as well so you can see that I just accompanied him to the show. :)

After the show, we went for our dinner at Tomi Sushi which is at Parco Millenia Walk as boyfriend was craving for raw salmons.















We ordered dinner set and the set came in quite a big portion with many side dishes.
So I guess it's quite worthy if you order set.
Otherwise, it would be rather pricey.
By the way, their menu has little varieties as well.
Overall, the food are tasty.
The raw tuna and salmon are very fresh.

Sunday, I went out with family, so there's nothing much to write on. Haha..
Another boring post updating my weekend. *yawn*

Fringe Braid Hairstyles

I always love french braid but I am bad at it.
I learn by watching YouTube videos.
Just search braids tutorial and you can find many videos.
From there, you can learn from the Youtuber on how to braid.
I find that braid your own hair is difficult so I think that the Youtuber are really good!

There are many types of braiding hairstyles and they are really pretty!
One of the type is the waterfall braiding but my hair is quite short now, so its isn't easy to do it.



So here's some pics of myself with my DIY fringe braid.
Its my first attempt and I think its not bad.

Hair Transformation!

In this post, I show you my hair transformation since 2008 till date. (Kind of backdate~ >.<)
Actually all these years, I really spent too much money on my hair monthly since I got really long hair previously.
And you know dying a long hair in a salon is really costly!
Moreover, I doesn't have a sponsor *ahem*, so all my monthly pay just burnt my pocket a hole. D;

To me, hair is very important of how one's look.
The hair length and the colour of the hair can change one's look

I really love to experience different hair colors and see how I look like at the end of the day.

Recently the dip dye or ombre trend made me tried on myself too!

Anyway the transformation......



For what I can remember, I always have long rebond hair in dark brown color.


Till one day, I decided to chop off my long hair to shoulder length hair.
Now I feel that I don't really suit this hair.
I still can remember I love that hair in the past.. HAHA!


After which, I slowly grow back to my hair.
Also tried cutting bangs which gave me a child-like look. =O
I always grow my fringe until a certain length then I cut bangs.


In 2011, I tot to myself that I wanna a new look for CNY.
So I decided to dye my hair lighter color.
Got the stylist recommendation and go for beige brown.


Then I go for ashy green color.
Always wanted to try ashy green but for my case, I didn't bleach my hair so usually the color fade off to beige brown in 1-2weeks. D;


I think this color lasted for about 10months before I made a big change.


Dye my hair to black on 2011 Oct because retouching is quite costly as I've to do it on a monthly basis. :(


This year, I made change on CNY again!
I was hesitating for quite sometime I decided to perm my hair.
As my sister also did it, I wanna tried it on myself as well.
Didn't regret though the hair is very dry.
Moreover, I am a lazy person whom don't take care of my hair. :X


Decided to add on ashy green highlights on Feb on the day of #nuffnangis5.
Doesn't seem obvious in this photos. Haha..


On my birthday (April), which I couldn't believe my hair was so long until I browse my photo album just now. LOL.
Curls wasn't curls anymore.
Lazy people do what lazy people do so my hair became wavy.
Highlight also faded from ashy green to brown. =/


On May, I redyed the ashy highlights again which cant be seen clearly in this photo still. LOL!
Later on it faded to brown. D;


Then due to the trend of Dip dye/ ombre, I tried the brown and pink on Aug 2012!
The actual color is not this pastel pink lah..
Its more hot pink like the below photo.





Then slowly the color faded like that..
Some became gold or I dunno what color lah.. Haha..


Then I decided to chop off my long hair to bob hair this September, after 1 month of dying ombre color.
One reason is cos the ombre done wasn't really a good job, moreover the hair was very dry and damaged. :(
The second reason is that I really wanna try this look.
So chopping off my long hair has benefit to which is to grow back my healthy long hair. Hehe..

So this is the journey of my hair.. LOL!

Actually having short hair now have nothing much that I can do..
I'll grow my hair to shoulder length and see what I can do about it. :D

A bigger change for my hair!

I've always wanted to do a ombre after the trend broke out!
I kept on hesistating and broading over what colour I should do.
I researched online on the different colour used.
Due to me working in a office environment, I decided not to go very very wild.


This is what I decided to do. :)

I went to Flhair Salon at Ang Mo Kio to dye it.
They opened at 12pm, I was sort of their first customer that Saturday.


The ambience inside is quite classy.


I love the big mirror there.

I sat at the salon for 5hrs to do my hair.
