Penang Trip 2016

It's my second time to Penang this year.
The main purpose is to attend and witness Sheauwei's wedding.
I am feel so happy for her as she finally found her Mr. Right.

In this post, I will be writing my 3D2N Peneng Travelogue.
Yes, squeezing everything in one post.
Really didn't do much as this mostly just to attend her wedding.

3 Dec 2016
We took the 11.20pm flight and the flight took about 1hr20mins.
By the way, we rent the Wifi Router from Changi Recommends.
But i can tell you, it is not recommended at all for Malaysia trip.
The data is so slow and sometimes I cant even get connection which I don't know why.
I spent $34 (inclusive of insurance) for this for 3 days which is not worthy at all.

Anyway, we touched down Penang at 1.30pm due to slight flight delay.
Had our lunch at the airport before heading to our hotel to check in and get prepared for the night.
The hotel that we stayed in is Hotel Equatorial Penang.
It's the hotel where SW's wedding dinner held at.
By the way, this hotel do provide airport transfer BUT you need to email and tell them what time they need to go to the airport to fetch you.
They didn't tell me that we need to make reservation in the email, which I wasn't very happy about it, so in the end we took Grab car to the hotel.

Reached the hotel and took a while to check in.
By the time, we went into the room, we need to prepare for the dinner.




The wedding dinner held at Etolie function room.
The rest, I will just use photos to show you the night.

Woke up really early on this day to prepare for the customary wedding.
I was one of the sisters.

This is the view outside my room balcony.


My tired face.. Haha..

All sisters will be wearing the same long skirt.

Reached SW's brother house and saw that she was preparing.
The other sister were planning games for the groom and brothers.

After SW done her makeup, we went for some photoshoots.
Also did mannequin challenge but the video is with the videographer.



Then its gate crash time.
It was my first experience really 不知所措 but still goes well smoothly. Haha..





Gatecrash successful!
After that, we stayed for a while before heading back to hotel to have our time.

Anyway, back to our room and changed to a much comfortable outfit before heading out for shopping at Queensbay Mall.
We took the shutter bus provided by the hotel.
It was really convenient.

At Queensbay Mall, the Christmas feel is already up.
As the mall is under CapitaLand, I can see that the mall is very much like Singapore's.




And again, we are at the supermarket looking for foods to buy back for SG.
G took a photo of me holding so many maggie mee.. Lol!
Its not mine alone okay..



Bought so much food back again..

We had our lunch at the mall before heading back to hotel for Spa.
Not a very good experience because the massage is repeat motion.
I guess the therapist should upgrade her skills.
Other than time, I think it is okay..


The Christmas decoration in the hotel.

It was the last night in Penang.
We flew back to Singapore the next morning.

Due to the short time, we are unable to explore much this time.
Hopefully to go back again as I think Penang is still quite a nice place to visit. :)

Zyden's Baby Shower

Today is Zyden's Baby Shower.
Finally he is one month old already!

First time sees Daddy carry Zyden and the way Daddy looked at him makes me feels warmth at heart.
I can kinda imagine how he looked at me when I was a baby. :p

Fazlina's Wedding

I attended Fazlina's wedding on 27 November 2016 with Hanisha.
This is the second malay wedding that I attended.
I asked Hanisha when will be her turn because I have not attend any Indian wedding before.
Anyway, congrats to the newly wed and have a blissful marriage.

Happy 8th Year!

A year ago.. I was still talking about 7th year of itch but today its the 8th year already.
And because it is a Monday, we sort of celebrate it earlier on Saturday.
Actually, we just had the usual movie and dinner.

I have not been planning surprises..
I became the lazy one of the other half..
And I have no excuse. I am just lazy. Hahaha..

For the past few years, I told him that we'll just be having dinner so we do not need to get present for each other anymore.
It is because I always have no idea what to buy and I am lazy to think.
He is one mafan-and-want-atas-stuff guy..
In order to prevent buying something he doesn't like and waste my money, we'll just spend the money on eating.
Even for celebrating birthdays with my friends, I'll just have a nice dinner and catch up with them.
I request no present because I don't need anything.

However, this year, he bought us a Casio couple watches, said to be 2015 limited Lover's Collection.
When I got it, I was nagging at him, as usual.
I am not really a watch person, and I have about 5 different watches now.
I am not even a Octopus, so why do I need so many watch?
Almost every year, he is giving me watch. -_-"
Anyway, it's also our first couple stuff. (Well, we got different taste.)

Nonetheless. I still thank him for the thought.
And I just treat him a nice dinner at One Raffles Place.
We also took so lovely photos. LOL!
His Samsung phone can take nice welfie photos. I am quite jealous. Haha..





Happy 8th Year.
We are an old couple already..
Can't believe we are and will be growing old together.. since 2008... D;

Valentine's Day 2016

人日快乐！生日快乐！情人节快乐！

I had Pre-Valentine's Day celebration with G yesterday.
I wasn't expecting anything from him because I told him not to buy any gift and we'll just have movie and dinner.
However, this guy appeared in front of me with a bouquet of roses after our movie.
Not only that, I also got a Pandora necklace charm from him. :)
So in return, I just treat ourselves dinner.

Watched Long Long Time Ago (我们的故事）.
I'm like watching hokkien movie throughout.
Nonetheless, it is a nice movie.
Close to the heart.
It's like telling me the story of my grandparent and parent's life back in the 60s.
Can't for Part 2 of the movie.


This is the 3rd bouquet he has given me till date..




On the side note, I guess I need to stop eating prawns.
Nowadays, I appeared to have rashes after eating it. Sigh~
Not sure is it my immune system getting weaker as I aged...

Okay..

Seventh Year Dinner

I haven been posting my recent face on my blog because most of it were from my previous travelogues.
So, today's post will have my face from yesterday.
Not very recent because I went to dye my hair today.
Finally got sick of darker hair shades.



Yesterday was our 7th year Anniversary with boyfriend.
We had dinner at The Line at Shangri-La hotel.
Reached the place early so we went to explore the places since its my first time there.

There is a wide variety to choose from at The Line buffet.
And I think the food is good too, just a little expensive for a small stomach like me.
I think I didn't eat much.
Shouldn't have gone to Toa Payoh Hub to eat the Rojak, if not I would have eaten more.




Also gotten a complimentary chocolate mousse cake due to celebrating Anniversary there.
Ohh I love the cake!
