Friday Night with Hanisha

#OOTD Sexyback~

Met up with Hanisha.
It was supposed to be her belated birthday meetup.

We went to have dinner at Lerk Thai along Bugis Street shophouses.
Its my second time trying the food at this restaurant.
The first time was with BF lunch at Tanjong Pagar Exchange during work.
The service at Bugis was good especially one of the staff was quite attentive.
I wonder is she a Thai or Vietnamese?
I cant tell it through her name.
She kept giving me a sweet smile and she is really friendly. :)




I like the vermicelli but too much vegetable which I dislike.




Her Tom Yum noodle soup. Quite spicy for me.


Side Dish - Pandan Leaf Chicken

Had a very full dinner.
Then we walked down to Chijmes.
Hanisha brought me to one of the bar there call Insomnia Bar & Restaurant.
Ordered a drink and waited for the band to start singing.


Can't remember the name of this cocktail.
Its like lemonade mix with tequila.
Very sour and we almost couldn't finish because its too sour.
So didn't manage to order 2nd drink.

Comment on the Insomnia Bar...
The live band is not bad.
They do sing the old and the new English songs and their voices are good.
Few things I doesn't like is that the place is quite small and cramp.
Moreover, there are a lot of Filipino and Caucasian.
Its weird to see that these 2 races together.
We saw some things that we didn't wanted to see anyway I don wanna mention it here also lah..
Its none of my business anyway. LOL
Overall, still quite ok but I do quite prefer Timbre.
I still hope to explore more of these places.

Sleepy-Oh-Thursday~

Nope, I didn't fall asleep during working hours.
Just feel really sleepy and eyes are really dry.

Anyway I've been blog hopping but haven really been updating myself other than my activities with BF and my friends.
Actually there's also nothing to update. =p

So long weekend is coming, thanks to Hari Raya Puasa.
And this whole week, I've been quite grumpy during work.
Maybe because due to some work problem which made me this way or I don't have enough of sleep the day before.
I think I am an owl, sleepy in the day but awake in the night.
Soooo looking forward to this long weekend even though I can't get out of SG.
Currently planning my BKK trip on Oct already. ^^
Its time for a real getaway!!!

So, tomorrow is the start of the Hungry Ghost Festival.

A day with my lovely girls

So on last Saturday, I met up with my girls after my driving lesson for food.
Yea, we eat and eat and eat.
Luckily we still do a bit of shop walking so I did lose off some calories.

Our first stop was Arbite.
The last time I went there was months ago with BF.
And I sorta missed the brunch so I might as well bring my girls there to try.

After our brunch, we still went for desserts at Ice3 (Ice Cube) which is place Engsang to us.
Its also around Chomp Chomp Food Centre.

Ice3 also sell food other than desserts.
And the place is small and cosy.
We sat at a corner with dim lighting.
Very relaxing place to enjoy with friends or love one.

Actually, they ordered this.
I am biased and I want anything that is chocolate but I cant be selfish so I ask them to go choose the ice cream flavour.
But i guess they love me so they choose this chocolate indulgence. Hehehe..

After filling our empty stomach, we headed down to NEX to shop for Jingwen's present.
Actually her birthday was on June but she hesitate on what she wants, so finally we got her a watch.


This cost $117 after 20% discount at City Chain NEX outlet.
I think its very cheap, moreover its Sovil Titus brand. Woot!
Bet she loves it~

After shopping, we couldn't decide between to watch a movie or KTV.
Finally, after checking the movie slots and seats, we decided to go for 3hr KTV because the movies slots are all fast selling and didn't have any good seats available.













After KTV, we went for our supper at Alishan Teochew Porridge at Kovan, my favourite place to eat porridge! :D



Ended our day very late and BF came to fetch me to his place. :)

Cervical Cancer Vaccination

Engsang and I finally got our 1st dosage of cervical cancer vaccine at AMK Healthway today!
We decided to do it because this vaccination can be claim to Medisave for girls below 25 years old.

During registration, you can just present your IC without any CPF statement.
They will give you forms to fill up and then you can just get your vaccination.

Actually they have 2 types of vaccination.
One is Cervarix and the other one Gardasil.
As explained by the doctor to us, Cervarix protect 2 kinds of HPV infection and HPV-related diseases while Gardasil protect 4 types.
You can google to find it out more.

The doctor also says that some people took the vaccination might encounter severe case.
While some might encounter side effects like sore arms, rashes or fever.

Anyway, both of us decided to go ahead with Gardasil as recommended by the doctor.
FYI, the 3 shots is taken at 0, 2 and 6 months.
After our chat, I was asked to leave the room first while Engsang took her shot.

Then it was my turn, the doctor asked me a few question which he needed to note down for his information.
After which he took out the vaccine and then injected me on my left upper arm.
The needle was very thin, and there was a slight ache when the liquid pumped in.
The process was quick and not that painful.
My arm is now aching slightly when I try to move up but I didn't experience any side effects like swelling, rashes or fever.
So I guess its still good. :)

After the vaccination, both of us can just leave the place without paying.
So I guess the charges will be deducted in our Medisave.
We need to get our 2nd dose on October 2012 and 3rd dose on Feb 2013.

I feel that I need to get myself some protection against these kind of diseases.
So girls, I hope you do it as well because Cervical Cancer is one of a deadly cancer for women.

Saturday with BF

After my hair transformation, me and BF went to grab some food to eat as I was famished.
Actually our plan was to try out the Rider's cafe but we cancelled it due to my hair transformation was taking too much time. D:
We shall try it another time then.

Broadway Plaza at AMK done their renovation.
We didnt went in to take a look at the building.
However, we saw a Japanese restaurant so we decided to try.


Marugoto Shokudou is the name of the restaurant.

Food we ordered.


Potato Croquette.


Salmon sashimi.
This is very good as it is very fresh.


BF's breaded pork ramen.


Mine char siew ramen.

The sushi was quite expensive so we didn't ordered any.
Overall, the food was quite decent.
But the service, I don't know how to comment about it.

The story goes like this...
One of the staff who helped us to take order didn't took my order.
So when we found out that my food was not ordered, BF went to tell one of the guy.
The guy wanted to key into the computer was stopped by another guy whom we thought he might be the manager.
Ya so, they went on chatting away without keying my order.
Seeing the situation, my BF called to the guy again then he keyed in the order. -.-"
Not very attentive, yes?
Anyway, I finally got my bowl of ramen so I didn't bother much.

After food, we went to shop and I decided to buy a PS3 controller.
And its pink! Aww its very pretty pink!



I don't know why I'm so into pink nowadays but Blue is still my favourite color.
I'm falling in love with all the pastel colors.
So now I got a controller to play games with BF.
Which I hope our Sunday is not always about waking up, eat, watch TV, sleep then wake up and eat again. Haha..

A bigger change for my hair!

I've always wanted to do a ombre after the trend broke out!
I kept on hesistating and broading over what colour I should do.
I researched online on the different colour used.
Due to me working in a office environment, I decided not to go very very wild.


This is what I decided to do. :)

I went to Flhair Salon at Ang Mo Kio to dye it.
They opened at 12pm, I was sort of their first customer that Saturday.


The ambience inside is quite classy.


I love the big mirror there.

I haven retouch my roots for 3mths! =O

I sat at the salon for 5hrs to do my hair.
And the result!!!!!

But a little bit regret cos quite attention seeking. Zzz..
Still, I feel that I should be more daring (since I'm still quite young) to do what I wanna do in case I regret one day. :)

The Ship Restaurant

Met up with BF, Veron and Shin for dinner after work at The Ship Restaurant; Nex.



I always passed by this restaurant but didnt get to try it and now I finally did!
The ambience in the restaurant is quite nice place to chill out with friends or partners.
We ordered the set dinner meal which include soup of the day, main, dessert of the day and drink.






Veron and I ate the Seafood Harvest set.
Set include salmon, dory fish, scallops, prawns and vegetables.
For me, i feel that the dory fish tasted blend.
Veron said that the scallop smell very fish.


BF and Shin ate the Ship Combo set.
Set include pork, chicken, prawns and vegetables.
BF didnt like the pork because its very hard to chew.


Mint ice cream for BF.


Choco ice cream for me.

Overall, it's not bad.
BF was interested with the hot plate when he saw other customer order it.
So he said that we can go back to try that. :)

Duffy & Shellie May

My colleague is back from Japan for few days!
Before he left, I asked him to help me to buy Duffy & Shellie May from Disneysea since he's going over with his gf.

Finally I got the stuff toy! Yay~

Both of them are so cute and huggable~
And they are about 50cm big.
They cost about $100+ depends on how you use the Yen rate to calculate.
I think its quite expensive.
But anyway, Disney stuff are not cheap! Haha..

Thankful for my colleague to help me buy it.
If not I wouldn't know when can I go to Japan to get it. :)
