Happy 8th Year!

A year ago.. I was still talking about 7th year of itch but today its the 8th year already.
And because it is a Monday, we sort of celebrate it earlier on Saturday.
Actually, we just had the usual movie and dinner.

I have not been planning surprises..
I became the lazy one of the other half..
And I have no excuse. I am just lazy. Hahaha..

For the past few years, I told him that we'll just be having dinner so we do not need to get present for each other anymore.
It is because I always have no idea what to buy and I am lazy to think.
He is one mafan-and-want-atas-stuff guy..
In order to prevent buying something he doesn't like and waste my money, we'll just spend the money on eating.
Even for celebrating birthdays with my friends, I'll just have a nice dinner and catch up with them.
I request no present because I don't need anything.

However, this year, he bought us a Casio couple watches, said to be 2015 limited Lover's Collection.
When I got it, I was nagging at him, as usual.
I am not really a watch person, and I have about 5 different watches now.
I am not even a Octopus, so why do I need so many watch?
Almost every year, he is giving me watch. -_-"
Anyway, it's also our first couple stuff. (Well, we got different taste.)

Nonetheless. I still thank him for the thought.
And I just treat him a nice dinner at One Raffles Place.
We also took so lovely photos. LOL!
His Samsung phone can take nice welfie photos. I am quite jealous. Haha..

Happy 8th Year.
We are an old couple already..
Can't believe we are and will be growing old together.. since 2008... D;

Start of Term 6!

It was just 1.5 years ago when I was contemplating whether or not should I take up a degree course but now I'm already left with less than 4 months more and I'll be ending my course! Last lap now!
How time flies..

Today is the start of term 6.
Its just only 1 module to attend which means only 9 classes.
Doesn't sound hectic but the project coming up seems hectic.
Sigh~ its the very last term already but the school still want to torture us.

I haven even really touch on my dissertation yet.
I am going to finish up my current drama that I am watching, Descendants of the Sun.
Once I am done with it, I am gonna stop drama-ing for awhile and focus on the project and dissertation.
Well, its just less than 4 months more and I will get through it like how I did for the past terms!!!

Mid Year Trip 2016

Hello, I just got back from my 2016 Mid Year Trip with my family to Macau and Hong Kong last week.
It's the second family trip this year but without Bro this time.
A family trip is very quite rare in my family because Dad and Bro usually don't travel long distance trip with us. (The guys.. 😏)
However, since Dad had 2 weeks of rest and his friends wanted to go HK, so he asked if we want to join.
Actually, going to Hong Kong is not my sis and my interest, we would rather go Taiwan.
However, it's mum and dad first trip to Hong Kong so we brought them around.
During the trip, dad told us “你们小时候,我们带你们出去走,现在我们老了,你们带我们出去走。” :)

Anyway, the trip was okay. Though we have small conflicts at time, but still okay.
Also, due to time constraint, we did not have much time so they missed out some attractions like Avenue of Stars, The Peak and etc.
Overheard dad saying that we will not go back to Hong Kong.
He feels that the food and stuff are expensive. I do feel the same.
Moreover, comparing to 8 years ago, there are more people in Hong Kong now.
I feel that everywhere is very crowded!

I was also able to take 2hrs off from my family and "travel solo" from my hotel to my office to meet my HK colleagues. Haha..
It was nice to meet some of them in person but I didn't get to meet the sales people. Well, that's fine.

Overall, we bought many food stuff back.
Didn't get to shop around much as well.
We tried the Almond Pastry from Koi Kei Bakery and it is yummy!
And there's a Koi Kei Bakery branch in Chinatown so I guess whenever I feel like eating, I can go there and buy. Haha..
Oh, the famous Jenny Cookie actually doesn't taste as nice as what Steph had baked.
I am gonna learn from her soon!

And well.. these sort of summerizes my HK Trip and I can't wait for my next trip in 4 months time!

Hokkaido; Japan 2015 - Day 1-2 - Okhotsk Tower & Okhotsk Tokkari Center

A year ago, I went to my very first Japan; Hokkaido Trip with my mum!
We went with the tour and its my first tour trip.
Booked through Asia-Euro Holidays website.
During that time, I saw the news that Asia-Euro Holidays had closed down.
Suprisingly, my trip wasn't affected and the tour who brought us around is called Apple Vacations.
It was a good experience.

Our trip was from 22 May to 28 May 2015.
I am missing Japan. :(

We took the night flight from Singapore to Haneda.
As usual, I cannot sleep during the whole flight so I just eat, watch video, listen to music, try to sleep, etc...

Touched down at Tokyo; Haneda Airport on Day 2, and need we need to transit to Okhotsk Monbetsu.
So while waiting, we went to buy Wifi card and drinks.

Talking about the Wifi, I got the portable one.
I remembered I got it from Softbank at about $90 plus for 5days which is not worthy.
Moreover, some of the places we went were not covered. :(
I think its better to get the data card as it might be cheaper, and my mum can tether to my phone.

Lipton milk tea!! However, not as nice as the one in Taiwan.

The below is the shutter bus area to bring us to the terminal domestic.

Took about 2hr to reach Okhotsk Monbetsu airport and the sky is so pretty!

Then the tour brought us for our first meal.
Actually, this was not included in the itinerary but the guide told us that the place has no where for food.
Therefore, he negotiated with his boss and then he agreed to give us this lunch for free. :D
First meal - Scallop feast and the raw scallops are very fresh!

The restaurant has a pond full of big crabs.

Took this cigarette vending machines to show my smokers bro and sis. LOL!

My totally bare face since the night before. Sigh~
Hence, for the first day, I have photos with no makeup on.

#justOOTD

First stop is to go to Okhotsk Tower.
Okhotsk Tower is a natural observation room whereby there are many types of marine organism and sea creatures.
It is also situated in the sea whereby we can get a beautiful view.

Guess this is the most beautiful thing I see in Okhotsk Tower.
Its Clione, the sea angel.

Next, we took this tram to Okhotsk Tokkari Center.
Okhotsk Tokkari Center is a Seal Protection center, with more than 30 seals.
We were able to get close and touch it.
It was a really fun experience.

The guide telling us what to do, and what's not.

My friends say that my jacket is the same as the seal skin color. wtf. -.-
Anyway, these seals are such a cutie.
They are able to listen to instruction in Japanese and do what was told.
Sorta like performing to us.

We asked the guide why this seal is white in color.
It is just like the other seal, it's just that it is peeling its skin.

I'll be back for the next post on Day 2.
We went for a beautiful pinkish place, where every girls will love it.
