Cruise with Royal Carribean 2016 - Day 2

On the second day (1st Mar), we docked at Port Klang, Malaysia.
My family and I didn't get off the ship on this day as we doesn't want to go KL.
Shore excursions are available if you are interested to follow the tours.
Alternatively, you can also hire a cab to bring you anywhere else but you need to be back by the stated time.




Woke up rather late so we missed out the in-room breakfast as well as the breakfast buffet at Windjammer.
Hence, we went for a brunch at Rhapsody in Blue Dining Room (Level 3).

I went to my dad's room first.

Then I was amazed that there is a double deck bed that my bro slept in.

Food in Rhapsody in Blue Dining Room is not bad.
Except that the waiter, who served us, is not attentive and inflexible. :/
Anyway, they have a salad bar which the selection are good.

This pasta that I order doesn't even taste like pasta to me at all.
Its tasted like mashed potato and I was telling my family that the shapes of the pasta look like maggots. -_-
In the end, I didn't finish up the food.
This is the only food that is not nice for the whole trip.

After food, we went to walk around the place.
Then we participated the lucky draw for the Fashion Show.
Lucky enough of us to win the first prize, a Sapphire necklace. :D
G's name was called so obviously the prize belongs to me. Muahahaha~

Then we rushed off for Bingo Game.
A set of 4 cards cost US$32.
We all bought 4 sets and got a free bingo t-shirt and 1 extra card.


My lousy sets of card can't even get me to stand up for Bingo.
By the way, the way to win the game is to get the set of pattern that the emcee chose.
Only the 1st person to get the pattern, gets to win cash.

After Bingo game, G and I rushed to watch the Ice Under the Big Top.
As our SeaPass indicate an Even number assembly station, we have to watch it on this day.
While my other family has an odd number, they watched the next day.










After show, G and I went to the open area for a walk and sunset watching.







Trying to do a heart shape but why does it look like a demon laughing? Lol~

We went back to our room to change to formal clothing as it is a formal night.
When we got in, we saw a "bat".
It's really cute and we let it hang there for 2 days.

I had this duck rice.
The meat was really hard.
I had difficulty cut it and so the kind representative helped me to remove the bones.
Service is damn good but I felt embarrassed.

After dinner, my dad wanted to go up to the open area for a walk.
So I went with them again and this time we walked 1 round of the entire ship.
Wonder what they are looking at...

Movie playing at the Pool deck is Goosebumps.
I haven watch the movie, will find time to do so.
Few movies will be played on different timing on the big screen.

Came to the end of the ship.

Dad wanted to drink.
So we went to Boleros bar.





After drinking, went to casino for some games to try win back the US$32 that I lose on Bingo game. Haha~ :p

Hectic Week!

Today is the last day of this week and I still couldn't have a good rest.

On my way to school right now and it's a full day class from (9am-6pm), having 2 modules.

It's like I am working full day. -.-

Hopefully this is my first and last full day class.

I wonder how I'm gonna survive today but I guess I will enjoy my afternoon class because it's Frankie's class!

Mix emotion, feeling so angry, tired and sleepy.

Even yesterday I can't sleep until as and when I want to wake up because I got to get up early to go dentist then meet my friends. :(

Work this week was super tiring as well as 2 of my team mates were on leave.

As I have extra workload now, I can't even slow down a little.

2 weeks to quarter end and hopefully April will be good.

Looking forward to long weekend next week so I can rest a little.

Cruise with Royal Carribean 2016 - Day 1

I decided to post my cruise travelogue first because this is easier to write. LOL!
I know I am delaying my Hokkaido travelogue but I am someone who likes to complete an easier task first then focus on the difficult task later. Not trying to find excuses. :p

Cruise trip was suggested by my sister because we have not had family trips for quite a long time.
Even though, I might go for trip with my mum and sis or with my mum, that doesn't consider a family trip.
Anyway, the last family trip was a 2D1N to Tanjong Pinang in 2007 which is about 8 years ago so this trip is really a meaningful one.
There were 9 members (including me) from my family and my dad's friend who joined us.
It make me reminisce a long long time ago, when I was younger, maybe 12 or 13 years old, my dad brought my family, when grandpa is still around, to Genting.
Memory rather blurred but I guess we still have the photos.

Ok, enough of my long grandmother story.
My cruise trip falls on the leap day of 2016 and the trip was from 29 Feb to 4 March 2016.
That day, I took half day off and worked from home in the morning, then set off at about 1pm.
The check in place is at Marina Bay Cruise Centre.
It is advisable not to check in your baggage because you might not know when you will get your baggage.
In my opinion, since we reached early, we didn't check in our bags and after we got up the ship, we can straight away proceed to our room to put our things.

Headed over to dad's and mum's room as they are side by side.
While my room and sis room was far far away from each other other.
Mum's and dad's room locate at the front of the ship hence their balcony has a bigger space.



At around 3pm+, we went to Windjammer Cafe for lunch.
Windjammer cafe is the place where buffet are located at.

At 4.30pm, we went to the assembly drill to familiarize with the safety onboard.
Separated with the family because our assembly station was different from them.



After the drill, we went in and saw the casino.
Took some photos, game not started because ship has not depart.





At about 5pm, the ship starts sailing and depart from Singapore and we went outdoor to view.
I cant really felt the ship moving when I am standing but when sitting, actually I can feel a little movement.





Then we rushed to watch the DreamWorks Move It, Move It Parade.
It's funny to see the mascots taking the elevators. So cute!

Then we went to Michael Kors and Coach boutique to see bags.
Roamed around the place and then took a shot of the amazing sunset.

Only sat down not even 1minute and won USD$41 from this slot machine.
How lucky is me and my mum. :D

Then we had dinner at this main dining room at level 5.
Only took this first day menu.
Their 'classics' are fix whereas the others changes daily.

Went for 2nd round of casino for the day.
No luck. I won my $20 but lose it all on that day itself. LOL~

Sis in law was having this cheap thrill, playing this machine but he gave up.
Then mum joined in.
She used $10 of quarter cents to win the US$20 note. Lucky she.




Really got addicted to this Big Or Small machine.
Not only me but my Bro and mum too.
See how serious our looks were.
My bro really out of mind.
He can bet $100 on 1 game!
I don't know where he got all that courage from. -_-"
So he's the biggest loser for this trip.
But actually he won big for the first 2 days but lose a lot more on the 3rd day.

Since, I lose my $20 away, I stopped and went back to rest for the day.

p/s : I'll try to finish up this cruise travelogue before I start my coming assignment. D;

Start of Term 5!

It's the start of Term 5 today!
Woah! I am coming to the second last term.
Getting nearer and nearer to graduation. (I hope!)

During the break, I have been watching drama after drama, just wasting time.
Hence, I've been neglecting my blog and even Facebooking and instagramming.
It is really that exaggerating and I can't believe myself also. LOL!
But I am glad that, other than busying with work, I am able to do things that I really love.

Well, the next 2 terms gonna be tedious.
I am having 2 months of classes for Term 5.
Hope its gonna be good.
Term 6 should be a few classes for a module but still gonna write my 10,000 words of dissertation.

Talking about dissertation, I just submitted my 500 words proposal today.
Hopefully my supervisor gonna be good.
It was really difficult to think of a topic to write because Business Management is a wide topic.
In the end, I settled for a HR topic.
Initially I wanted to write HR + M&A but due to not much information on the internet so I dropped the idea. :(
Well, most importantly is to choose something that I can write and I am comfortable with so that I can pass that paper.

Hmm, I still haven get back my last term assignments.
It is really worrying because I don't know how I fare.
Hopefully, the school will announce for collection soon.

Lastly, I'm looking forward to the end of this term then I am heading for a family trip again!
However, unlike the cruise trip, some of the family members are not going.
Still, I hope it will be an enjoyable one. :)

Everybody's Changing

Nowadays, I feel that everybody around me, are changing and I don't feel the same anymore.
It seems like its hard to interact with people.
Did I offend someone without knowing and hence people are treating me this way?
Maybe for one, I know I did.
However, for the others, I guess we're just getting distant.

When one's status changes, they feel highly of themselves and so they look down on people?
Sometimes it just so hard to interact with them and then get things done.
You are not the only one who feel the stress...
I am also a human and I don't feel that you got the right to treat me that way. :(

When one's status changes, why do the person move away from their usual circle?
Previously, we were able to talk nicely to each other but now it seems that we are so unfamiliar to each other.
If being formal is the way to go, then fine...

"If a friendship lasts longer than 7 years, psychologists say it will last a lifetime", I can surely say that this is a myth.
Sigh.. I guess the road that we take together still doesn't go very far.
I can take and deal with your insults but you can't take my shit then so be it.

Lastly, people with 爱理不理 attitude, don't come and play with my feeling!

I am not your toy.

As I grow older, family really matters to me because they are the ones who will not change and will not leave me.

Back from Cruise Trip!

Hello!
I just got back home from cruise trip with my family this morning.
I was super tired due to only 4hrs of sleep last night that I went to sleep after I reached home not long after.
I slept from 12pm to 6pm!
I am still feeling very tired and I bet that I am able to sleep later on.
Will be going to JPO with my colleagues tomorrow morning.

My first cruise trip with my family has been an enjoyable one.
The last trip together should be about 10 years ago to Tanjong Pinang.
I will do a full post later on.

During this short trip, I got addicted to Casino.
I am actually someone who doesn't like gambling.
However, the Big or Small machine is really addictive.
The minimum bet cost US$5 which is expensive to me.
Luckily, I am able to break even when I lose and later got some winnings.
Its either I am good at guessing what the machine will generate the next result or I am just pure lucky.
Maybe next time, I'll go try my luck at Genting Casino. :p

Other than playing casino, I also played sports like basketball, swimming and table tennis.
That's how my whole body aches badly and also got tanned and sun burnt on my face and shoulder area. :(
Age really catching up. Sigh~

Alright, back to reality.
Sunday back to school and Monday back to work.
Gonna start thinking of dissertation topic and my proposal dues on 18 March! Argh!
