Boracay 2014 - Day 2 Activities in Boracay

Continue from my Day 1 Boracay Trip post...

Woke up the 2nd day in Boracay, had our breakfast at our resort before heading out.
Since the 1st day when we reached, it was night time, so we're excited to see the beautiful azure sea water in the day.
However the sun is too terrible in Boracay.
So we decided to walk down to Station 3 under the shelter to find package for water sports activities first.

There are actually many booths from Station 1-3, but boyfriend's friend told him that Station 3 should be cheaper.
When we were there, there were many guys trying to promote so in the end we just select one of them.
We bought many packages - ATV ride to Mt Luho for sightseeing, Zipline, Sunset Yachting, and Island hopping.
I can't remember how much we paid for but i think its quite reasonable for those activities.
We were even able to bargain the price. :p

So first activity is to go for the ATV ride to Mt Luho and Zipline!

Us in the Tuk-tuk on the way to the destination where they parked the ATV.

So this is our first ATV ride.
I was really excited and so does the boyfriend.
For starter, I am also quite scare la but after that I'm good.

So rode upslope towards the Mt Luho area.
I remembered when we reached our destination, my thumb was almost numb because the control to make the ATV moved was at the handle and we had to use our thumb to control it.

And so we reached Mt Luho view point in Boracay.
Mt. Luho is the highest point that overlook the whole of Boracay.
The scenery is breathtaking!

This guy is our tour guide for the day.
He's very friendly and take good picture of me and boyfriend too~ :D

After the sightseeing, we rode down to take the zipline.

This was not my first experience taking the zipline.
My first experience was in Sentosa but it was quite different.
In sentosa, I was hanging straight like hangman but in Boracay, we had to lie down.
Also, the journey is longer than in Singapore too. Haha~

After zipping down to the other end, we had to take the cable car back.

On the way back to the end where we start, we were also able to see beautiful view.

After everything, we rode back the ATV where it first parked.
Our next activity which is the Sunset Yachting was in the evening.
Since we had some times we went shopping at Talipapa and D'Mall.
There are many shops selling summer wear and bikini.

Then we headed down to the beach.
Sadly even though the water is clear but there are many algae. :(
The water are polluted by those water sports activities.

After which, we went back to our hotel room to rest for awhile before heading out again for the Sunset Yachting.
We were again chauffeured by tuk-tuk to Station 3 for the ride.

On the Yacht.

Really beautiful sunset experience on the sea. :)

There were also parasailing activities too.
I guess it's very nice to see the sunset up in the sky too.

After we got down the Yacht, I saw a starfish. So nice~

After which the sun was really setting, the sky became so beautiful.

Sun ray.

Rainbow sky. Total no edit and original photo.

Then we roam around at night again.
Boyfriend wanted to buy this Chicharon, like pig skin cracker, which said to be the speciality in Philippines.
After I tried it, I didn't really like it though..

I order the watermelon milkshake which taste good.
Forgotten what boyfriend ordered.

This friendly guy helped to craft my name into necklace and bracelet.
He's very skillful!

Then we went to get our dinner for the night and went back hotel to eat..
Tried this Master Siomai, I think we had the chicken one or the pork one?

And hawaiian pizza for dinner~

This is my crafted necklace and bracelet. :)

Ended the day like this.
Day 3 has got to be a fun day as we go island hopping.
Will be back for that post soon. Ciao!

Chocolate Mousse

So I bought this chocolate mousse mix when I was in Gold Coast.
Bought it at Woolworth which is their supermart.
The recipe is really easy to follow.

It tastes very chocolatey.
Luckily, I seperated them all in small glasses.
I have 1 more pack to do, maybe I shall try different style by maybe adding fruits. :)

Supper at The Ramen Stall

Since boyfriend had reservist and booked out late, we met up for late night supper.
Was researching for supper and found out a ramen store that opens till late.
Usually, we had supper like dim sum.
Finding it interesting, we decided to try it out.

We order quite a few dishes to fulfill our hungry stomach.

Cha Siew Ramen ($11.00)
We ordered the pork broth. They had chicken broth as another choice too.
I quite like the cha siew as it's tender.

Salmon Sashimi($9.90) is fresh.

ChawanMushi ($3.90) is so-so only.. Quite bland.

Fried Salmon Skin ($6.90) are quite different from the other stores. The skins are really thin. Don't prefer this though.

The hot green tea we ordered was ridiculously $2 per cup which is expensive.
Overall, the food is okay only.
The price we paid in total (approx $60), can eat at a better store though.
I guess this will be our last visit. :)

Charcoal Thai Kovan

I was craving for Mookata so I suggested to Boyfriend that we had our dinner at Charcoal Thai @ Kovan.
We wanted to go to the branch at Vivocity but the queue was really long so we tried our luck in Kovan.
Surprisingly there's wasn't much people when we were there at 8.30pm.

When we were at the doorsteps, the staff wasn't very attentive so we just walked in and find one clean table to sit.
Yes, clean table because some tables were not clean up yet. =/
We settled down, look at the menu and submit our orders.
Here's our order...

Thai Tea (S$3.90)

Our set meal (Usual Price: $39.90) for 2 consists of a basket of veggies and meats.

Stir fried prawn as side dish. (S$12..90)

Overall, food is okay.
I like the vegetable soup as the base for Mookata.
The meat is not very marinated so the taste is so-so only.

Anyway, I got the offer from the facebook page.
However I am quite disappointed that the T&C is not stated clearly.

As you can see that the dinner is $14.90 instead of $39.90.
However, I was told that it is $14.90 per pax.
Yes it is still cheaper overall but its not stated clearly, cheating people's feeling, how can??

Anyway, we don't want to make difficult situation for the waitress so we just paid and went off.
Don't think we will go back again.
Overall, I still prefer Mookata from Tom Yum Kungfu.

Hair Care Products

Personally, I feel that hair care is very important and essential for me.
I love changing my hair from long to short and also dying it with different colors.
However, if I do not keep my hair healthy, I won't be able to do so.
I must say that I am quite lucky to born with a thicker hair.

So my usual hair care routine would be other than the usual shampooing and putting on hair conditioner, once a week, I will also pamper my hair by putting on hair mask or hair treatment.

Upon searching the hair care products in Zalora, I saw this LIVING PROOF No Frizz Series, I think to myself that this is for me!
As you see that the weather in Singapore is so humid.
Sometimes due to the weather condition, our hair will become dull too.
This series should help to do the prevention.
So I guess this series should suit many women.

Other than the No Frizz series, there are also a few other series from LIVING PROOF.
You can browse them at the collection of hair care products.

Dolly Wink X Guinness World Record Event

Hey Hey You You!!
Haha.. sort of back for now and will go missing in a while again.. :p

So yesterday, I was at the Dolly Wink X Guinness World Record Event with SheauWei.
To commemorate Dolly Wink's 5th year of launch, so we challenged to set the 1st World record of the most number of people putting on Dolly Wink lashes together!
It was a great event as we were part of breaking the world record of putting fake eyelashes with the other 326 girls and boys (hmm yes, 2 boys took part as well..).
According to Fortuna Burke, Guinness World Record Adjudicator, we've set the record for the "Most People Applying False Eyelashes"!
Also in this meaningful event, Dolly Wink hopes to advocate early detection of breast cancer, and raise funds to support its cause for the Breast Cancer Foundation.

The 3hr (12pm~3pm) event is held at Scape, The Ground Theatre.

We have to go without eye makeup, if not we have to remove it on the spot.

Every seats has a goodie bag worth $100. (Note that we also paid $10 of registration fee so its really worth it.)

And our goodie bag consists of these! :D

Rosalyn and Xiaxue as the host of the event.
There are few bloggers who participate these event too.

After putting up my falsies (No.1 Dolly Sweet), I got very very long lashes..

*wink* :3

SheauWei and I after putting the falsie.
Really got difference right? Brighten up our look a lot!

We also bought some Dolly Wink products at a cheaper price, super worth it. Even though I don't really use falsies, but can keep what.. :p

Before ending this post, just want to say that I love SheauWei's company so much. Hahaha..
She's my +1 for all the makeup event and this is the 2nd one that we had gone to. ^^
More to come in future~
