A compilation of my 5 Days 4 Night Taiwan Trip with my boyfriend.
Images quite heavy but not as heavy as HK trip. LOL!

On the 16th, dear came over my house and sleep.
And on the 17th morning, we went to watch movie - Friday the 13th at Northpoint.
After which, i went over his house at night to sleep.
Day 1 - 18 May 09
Woke up at ard 9am, we went to prepare.
Left his house at ard 10am.
Cabbed down to Changi airport T3.
Check-in our luggages and then off we went to eat breakfast.
Wanted to eat at Popeye but there's only breakfast meal, therefore we change our mind and eat at Kopitiam.
After eating, we still have some time so we went to DFS and walked around.
Dear smelled some perfume which is nice.
One of it is the V&R Flowerbomb.
Its sad thing that I couldnt get it at the Arrival aiport.
Wasted~
Pretty bottle right?
I love the smell too~
Will get it if i found it around in SG~
Board time plane on 12.15pm.
Our flight is 12.25pm
Took the SQ flight - economy class.
Omg, always wanted to try this.
The services are good.
There's food provided to us as well.
And there's also entertainment like show for us to watch.
Our flight to Taiwan take abt 4hr 15mins.
So, it will not bored us during the 4hr15mins.
I watched a korean movie - Lost and Found.
Not a bad show, its comedy.
Anyway, when we are in the plane, it was raining very heavily lah.
I was kinda worried, i dunno why.. Haha~
But when we are up in the sky, the sun shone so brightly~
Touchdown at TaoYuan Airport at around 5pm.
After which, do all the neccessary stuff and get our luggages.
A chauffeur send us to Lotus Hot Spring Resort at Xin Bei Tou.
It takes about 1hr to reach the hotel.
Hungried, so we decided to go to Dan Shui since the place is near to our hotel.
There's a transport that bring us to the MRT station there.
We took the transport to Bei Tou station.
Took the train down to Dan Shui.
I thot i forgot to bring the EasyCard (same as EZ-link), so we went to buy the token for the train.
See, its so special.
Alighted at Dan Shui and we went to walk around the place.
Ate at a Raman Store.
The food wasnt very nice as it tasted quite plain. =(
It was raining heavily after we finished our food.
Didnt get to go to the Fishman Wharf (淡水漁人碼頭) because i didnt know how to go there.
Didnt really research for the place.
And i thot it was near the station but when i saw the map at the MRT station, it was quite far.
There's time constraint so i drop the idea of going there.
Back to our hotel at around 10pm.
There's indoor hot spring, so we took turn to bathe in it.
In this hotel, there's also something like SCV channel for us to watch which is good. :D
Off to bed at around 1am+.
Day 2 - 19 May 09
Woke up at around 7.45am.
Washed up and had our breakfast.
Back to our room to bathe and packed everything.
We had to tranfer hotel and also had our City Tour on that day.
1st stop is at Yehliu Geopark.
2nd stop, we went to Chioufen (九份).
Had our lunch there.
Bought some stuff there too.
3rd stop, we went to National Palace Museum.
No photos because no photography is allowed.
4th stop, we went to Lingzhi Speciality Store.
5th stop, we went to Lucky Charm Centre.
Therefore, the person there helped us to count our life (算命).
Somehow, they counted for us is quite accurate.
The last stop, we went to Shilin Night Market (士林夜市).
Due to time contraint, we didnt shop there.
We only ate dinner.
There are a lot of food stores there.
The famous Hao Da Da Ji Pai.
Always long queue.
I love the stick of barbecue chicken from this store.
Also, we tried one of the bubble tea there.
At ard 9pm, the tour guide send us to the Golden China Hotel.
After putting our luggages into the hotel, we went our to check out on the bus down to Min Quan Xi Lu MRT station.
If not, we wouldnt know how to go other places for the next 2 days.
Staying in this hotel was kinda boring.
Because no SCV shows for us to watch.
Most of the time are news. =(
Day 3 - 20 May 09
Woke up at 8.45am.
Went to wash up and had our b$reakfast at the restaurant.
Then back to our hotel to prepare ourselves for our own trip.
My plan for that day was to go Ximending, Shinlin then to Miramar Entertainment Park.
We reached Ximending at ard 11.30am.
Most of the shops were not opened.
Kinda weird for us because in SG, shops will be open at 10am.
Since most shop were not open, we went to a mall like OG.
Walked from 1st to 8th floor.
At around 1pm, we went back to Ximending (西门町).
Had our lunch at Da Che Lun (大车轮).
I've researched on this Japanese Restaurant.
The food there was nice.
Especially the chawamushi.
Its so different from Sakae Sushi.
The best that i've ever tasted. *Yummy*
Continue to shop around, then we changed our destination to Shilin again.
Trained down to Jiantan Station~
This time we came down here is also for shopping.
Because the day before, we only tried the food and didnt do any shopping.
I bought a Phillips portable speakers so that we can listen to some songs in the hotel to kill the boredom. HAHA!
Came across a pet shop.
There are a lot of puppies and kittens.
They are are so so so cute!
The kittens are so flurry~

After which, we cabbed down to Miramar Entertainment Park (美麗華) because i am not sure where the shuttle bus is.
From Shilin down to Miramar, if i am not wrong, the cab fare only cause around NT100 which is around SGD$4.50.
Had our dinner at one of the HK Restaurant.
I forgot to take a pics the store so i am not sure what the name of the restaurant.
Here, the food was not bad.
But the ice lemon tea is the worst that i've ever tasted.
Its so not sweet and its super bitter.
I didnt finish the drink. -.-

After our dinner, we walked around the shopping centre.
This place was in the scene from (换换爱) Why Why Love~
Went to the arcade to play some games.
So fun~
And and.. Dear caught a monkey from this machine!!
So lucky lah..
Caught within less than 10 token.
Saw this small cabin for KTV-ing.
10NT for 1 songs.
That's so cool~
There are variety of songs just like in Kbox.
Next, we went to take the Ferris Wheel.
This is my purpose of coming here. Hehe~
I love the lighting.
Its so beautiful.
I've took a video of it. =D
We also chose a transparent capsule for better view~
I think i take good photography~ ;p
We took the shuttle bus back to Jiantan Station.
Then we trained back to our hotel.
Didnt get any clothings for that day.. HAHA!
But i bought a boots at NT360!
Its so fooking CHEAP!!
I am a happy girl~ ^0^
Day 4 - 21 May 09
Woke up almost the same time as the day before.
Did the same thing in the morning as the day before.
Left the hotel abit later because their shop dont open so early.
Went to WuFenPu (五分埔), bought a lot of clothings from there.
Its a girl's shopping paradize.
You could shop till you dropped.
For guys, the price is quite expensive but there's a lot of choices to choose.
Clothings that you cant find in SG!
Almost done our shopping, we cabbed down to Taipei 101.
Cab fare is only NT110. Cheap~
Had our lunch at the B1 foodcourt.
Ate the Hainanese Chicken Rice and I LOVE IT!
Next, we went to find the entrance to Taipei 101.
Bought the tix.
There were so many tourists.
Went to queue up to take the elevator up to 89th Floor.
The speed was super fast as we reached the 89th floor within a min.
Currently Taipei 101 is the world tallest building, but soon there's one more going to replace it already.
I cant remember where the building from.
Around Taiwan is also covered with mountains.
Left the place at around 7pm.
Was deciding where to go.
Actually there are 2 choices - Taipei Main Station and Zhong Xiao Dong Lu (East District) for us to choose.
But in the end, we went back to Shilin Night Market.
Haha~ 3 straight days we went back there.
Dear went get his Jolin latest Album.
Then, we went to eat desserts at San Brother.
He had Pearl + Tao Huay, while i had Chocolate Shaved Milk Ice.
I love my dessert.
It's yummy and dear agree to it too~
Continue our last min shopping.
Got some souvenirs for my friends too.
Went to an alley and saw more cute kittens and puppies~ Omg~
But the place prohibit phototaking so i didnt take any photos. =(
We were very very tired + hungry so we went to tabao some small bites (小吃) from the market.
Then we cabbed back to our hotel.
My ankles ache for 2 days. =(
But i guess its worthy!
Day 5 - 22 May 09
As usual, woke up the same time.
Ate our breakfast and back to hotel to prepared.
Also to do our last packing.
The tour guide from Tuesday, came to fetch us to our airport.
I was so tired that i fell asleep.
Went to check in at ard 12.15pm.
Our boarding time was at 1.55pm.
We still got time, so we went to DFS to walk around.
Bought some pineapple tarts for my mum and his mum.
Also, got to use free internet access for awhile before we leave for our flight. Hee~
Watched Inkheart on the plane.
A very nice show!
Anyway, touchdown SG at around 7pm.
Went to get some stuff for Dad and Sis from DFS then we cabbed back home~
Summary
Woah, I love Taiwan!
Its a shopping paradize for girls really~
You could really shop till you drop.
The people there are friendly, but there are still some idiotic people out there that we've met.
Communicating is easy because we are speaks mandarin.
Oh, there are alot of chiobus and yandaos to see oso~ Wahaha~
Dear almost "nosebleed" because everywhere there are Jolin Tsai's poster around~
AND I really love his accompany too~ =D
Its a great trip, really~
