Queensland - Gold Coast 2014 - Movie World

Our main purpose to Gold Coast was for the theme parks!
Therefore on the second day in Gold Coast, we planned to go to Movie World.
From our apartment, we can take Tx2 which takes about 35mins to reach Movie World.

We reached even before the theme park is opened.

Movie World is where the characters like Batman, Catwoman, Green Lantern, Flash, and the Warner Bros characters like Bugs Bunny, Donald Duck, etc, appears.






The first thing when we are in was to take a bit of photos then head for our first ride!
We need to keep our belongings into the locker (with charge) so we went to play all the rides first before taking back our bags again to take photos.



Superman Escape.

The Green Lantern Coaster




There wasn't much exciting rides in Movie World.
Our Challenges in Movie World were:
- Superman Escape - 1 time
- Arkham Alyssum - 2 times
- Green Lantern Coaster - 2 times
- Bat Wing Spaceshot - 1 time
I think the most thrilling ride in Movie World would be the Superman Escape and Arkham Alyssum.

So after those rides, we went around the area to find mascots, photo taking and watch performances.



Oh, I fell in love with Churros when I tried it there.
Now this thing like quite popular in Singapore cafe.

Still I manage to capture its cute action. Haha~

As I don't post photos with her, since she don't want me to, so people thought I went on a solo trip. LOL!


My homemade lunch looked pathetic.
No choice because food there is expensive. D;

So while eating lunch, we watched the Scooby Doo and friends show.

Batman show!
He's so damn cool~
And the car too!




This stunt driver 2 is the coolest performance that I've ever watched!
Every stunt is so thrilling.
Imagine motorcycles flying from one slope to another, two storey high and cars moving on two wheels!





4 superheroes are Super Girl, Green Lantern, Flash and Wonder woman.
Watching a 4D show, I think its Journey 2: The Mysterious Island.

Overall, I had fun and tiring day in Movie World.
I'm someone who loves theme park.
I love thrilling rides the most and not many friends around me are daring enough to take the rides with me. Haha..
Glad that QW is one whom love thrilling rides so we accompanied each other.

No-Bake Strawberry Cheesecake

I chance upon this box of No Bake Strawberry Cheesecake at the Cold Storage few weeks ago.
Since I don't have an oven at my house, so no bake cheesecake is the best for now.
If I remember correct, this cost about $4.85.
I decided to make it today since my sis will be coming back home tomorrow.
Maybe my uncle and auntie will be here to try if they want.




Easy recipe.

The box consist of the Crust Mix, Filling Mix and the Strawberry Topping.

Mixed it with the crust mix, sugar and melted butter.

With the help of the boyfriend to help me whipped the filling mix and milk.
Then I spread it on top of the crust mix.
Chilled it in the fridge for an hour plus.

Add the strawberry topping and its good to eat.


Overall, mum said its tasty.
Boyfriend said that the bottom crust is not enough.
For me whom don't appreciate cheesecake, I find that its okay too.
However, I find that the crust fall apart easily not sure if its because the butter is not enough.
Still, I'm happy that its successful. :)

Bread Making Class #4

Last Saturday, my friends and I had our last bread making class at Chong Pang CC.
It was a great 4 lessons and I get to learn a lot about baking a bread.
The last day was quite slack I guess.

1. Sweet Bun
The teacher didn't give us the ingredient and procedure of making for this.
He just made the dough on his own and we helped to roll the dough.
Tasted it, it doesn't taste sweet at all..

3. Longan Wolfberry Bun



Hopefully to join this kind of class again in future.
I want to learn to make hot dog bun, croissants and pastries.

Officially

I went for my Orientation and Induction program yesterday and a training program today.
Started off well and I hope that it will be better.
I foresee that I will be enjoying one of the modules by one of the lecturer who gave us the training today.

One of my biggest fear is to meet new people.
I need to overcome myself from that because we will have team assignment/ group presentation.
Luckily, I saw many solos rather than those in group who went to study together.
So if I'm solo, then it will be easier to make friend with another solo.

I feel very grateful that some of my friends said that they will help me out if I encounter problem with my school work.
Thankful for them!

I am officially a degree student again.
