Second Day of CNY

Hey Everybody~!
I know I haven been blogging promptly because I was too addicted to my current drama.
The show is finishing soon in Taiwan this weekend. Boohoo~

Anyway let’s turn back to the second day of my CNY.
It was a last minute plan in morning to go to BF’s Gugu house for visiting.
We had our brunch at her house, then watch some TV shows and left her place at about 4pm.

We rushed down to The Cathay with BF’s mum and dad to catch Dance Dance Dragon.

This is a local New Year movie.
I felt that it's quite a nice show as I had some laughter in the show.
The baby boy is also very cute!
I always wonder how do they make film with baby? Must be not easy. Haha..

After our movie, we went to Hong Bao River at Esplanade and we took some photos.
Hong Bao River always attract a lot people, not only the Chinese, I saw other races as well.

This year the rabbit so not cute one! :/

After which, we went for our dinner at Pizza Hut; Marina Square.
Went back home after that as we start work the next day....

First day of CNY

Chinese New Year is a time when we all do visiting at our relatives place and gathering.
Some of my relative, we only see each other once a year.
I guess when we grow older, we drift more apart.
For example, at my great grandmother side, I have relatives named Xiaowen and Liwen.
Both of them are older than me by a few years and actually they are my aunties due to the family tree.
We (My bro and sis) actually don't call them aunties cos it really feels weird.
So anyway, when we were young, we often play with each other but now we are like strangers.
It feels weird to see them every year, and we just smile to each other.
I actually hope we can get closer but i guess the feeling isn’t same anymore.

Well, this year is no exceptional.
Like the past few years, I went to BF's relative side to do visiting, then by night time at my relative's place.
As usual, going to BF's side made me feel so uneasy.
I am only familiar with his GuGu side of family.
The others are so stranger.

On that day, they brought Mr Ray out to bainian with us.
Haha.. some of the photos we took of Ray are so cute lah.

In the evening at ard 6pm, BF came over my house to bainian as my auntie and uncle came over to my house.
After which, we followed my family to my relative house.
BF drove my dad, mum and sis over while Bro went with his GF on her car.

After done with the visiting, we went to Selatar Reservoir to put Sky Lantern (天燈 or 孔明燈)
Finally get to put it up as there's no rain.
Wanted to put it up on the eve but it was raining that day.

Wasted 2 lanterns.
One was short of one candles so we couldnt put it up and the other one didnt flew up and fell in the water.
Overall we had fun still. HAHA~

This year even though its same as every other year but i guess the bonding is the fun part.

Please Don't Throw The Face Of Us, Singaporean!

I am not sure why do we need the courtesy campaign for if Singaporean don't even know what's the meaning behind of this campaign.
As stated in Wikipedia, this National Courtesy Campaign is to encourage Singaporeans to be more kind and considerate to each other so as to create a pleasant environment for each other to live in.

For what I know, manners should be trained from young by the parents. However even if adult don’t even know how to set a good examples, how can they train their kids to be like one good person?!

I met 2 situations today, on the same day.
Though these 2 incidents don't really affect me much but I just want to voice out.
The first incident was when I'm going to alight from the monorail at Vivocity.
I heard an auntie saying to one of her family member, "Just move out, no need to wait for other people, they will give way".
Don't you think that it’s an inconsiderate thinking of hers?
If everyone thinks this way, I bet there will be a lot of pushing and in worst cases, people might even get injured.
So yes, I am the one giving way to her lah… moreover she was pushing a pram at that time.
I am being the courteous one to give way to her, if I am not, I can just squeeze my way out also what... pfft!

The second incident was when BF and I was dining at Japanese Gourmet Town in Vivocity.
BF took the bottle of chili flakes as he wanted for his bowl of ramen.
Then when he's done using it, he put it on our table.
The auntie behind our table just took it without asking us.
I mean, she can open her mouth and ask if she can take it no?
It's so rude to just take even though the bottle of chili flakes don’t belong to us but it’s put on our table.
What if BF still needs it?
I mean, opening up her mouth to ASK also won’t kill her or make her have less hair what..
I seriously cannot understand what these people are thinking.
What if its tourist and not us, how will they think of us, Singaporean?
Inconsiderate? Rude? Not well-mannered? * insert all the bad adjectives you can think of*
If the auntie is sitting opposite me, I would have stare at her already but she’s sitting beside me.
I only looked at her husband, and I guess the husband should be embarrassed with her wife wrongdoing. Tsk!

I know there are a few people whose aren’t like that but just this handful of troublemakers.
I hope Singaporeans will be more kind to each other.
Why make people angry just to make yourselves happy?
Why not make everyone around you happy?
I feel that making everyone around you happy, you will feel much more happier.

GONG XI HUAT ZAI AH!!
HUAT HUAT HUAT!! HAHAHA~

Even though its the 3rd day (初三) of Chinese New Year today, still I hope that my well wishes don't come in late.
So how many hong bao have you all gathered?
Mine is almost the same as last year, not much different.

For the past 2 days, I've been eating lots of goodies, feeling very full and I don't feel like eating anymore.
I guess weight is gaining and its time to hit on the running tracks.

Start of work today after a long holiday.
Dragging my feet to work as usual. Sian MAX!
Well, I should look of a bright side that its only 3 working days for this week!
So sad to know that the next public holiday will be on April! What a torture to Singaporeans right?

Anyway, I am sorting out photos and also gonna get photos from BF before I can write up my CNY posts.
So do wait patiently for it alright? Hehehe..

Reunion Dinner

This year reunion dinner is like every other year.
We had steamboat with full of choices.
Total of 8 people in the house.
Dad, Mum, Grandpa, Grandma, Sis, Bro, Bro's GF and I.
Its a pity that BF and I didnt went to each other house for steamboat this year because both of our timing clashes.
This year we started quite late. Haha..
Nonetheless, its a good time to eat with the family. :D

Its raining the whole evening and up till now its still raining.
Spoilt our plan of putting up the sky lantern.
Hopefully there's no rain tomorrow and we can put it up after visiting. ^~^

In a about half an hour time its Chinese New Year.
I shall wish you an early HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!

Chinese New Year's Eve's Eve

Hi, see my pretty curls?
Luckily its still maintaining in good shape.
Tell you a secret...
Actually I didnt really take care of my curls. HAHA!
I am a lazy person you see..
I don't put the sculpting lotion everyday.
And my hair now is like dried grass at the end, which i really hate. :(
Gonna trim it next month and hopefully I can do a highlight in ash green!

So, its Chinese New Year's Eve's Eve today.
BF and I went to the town area.
He kept saying that the town area looks quite empty for a weekend, maybe many people went to Chinatown to buy New Year stuff. HAHA.

Anyway, we watched The Viral Factor (逆战).
Surprisingly the show is awesome.
This show is shown in 4 different languages - English, Mandarin, Malay and Cantonese.
Most of the scenes are shown in Malaysia.
My colleague in Malaysia told me that she saw the filming because its so near my Malaysia office.
I wonder how they gathered the people to act in the movie, it seems so exciting!
Nicholas Tse really put a lot of effort in every movie he acts.
His scenes look really dangerous as he kept falling off from high area.
I thought the director or producer ill treated him like that.
Overall the show is worth the watch.

Lovesick / 戀愛恐慌症

After teaming in the drama, In Time With You, Ariel Lin (林依晨) and Chen Bo Lin (陈柏霖) team up again for the movie, Lovesick (戀愛恐慌症).
Sadly, this movie was not shown in Singapore.
Luckily for Letv in iPhone, I downloaded the show and watch it.

The show is saying about a girl (acted by Ariel Lin) that due to a failed relationship, she was afraid to fall in love again.
She thinks that all guys are the same as her ex bf who betrays.
After meeting and getting to know the guy (acted by Chen Bo Lin), she fell in love with him.

This show is a combination of romance and comedy.
I feel that Ariel Lin and Chen Bo Lin are a great pair!

The Feel of Chinese New Year?

Few days ago, I wrote in my twitter and FB status that I don’t get the Chinese New Year (CNY) feel for this year.
One of my friends exaggeratedly asks me to go China to get the feel of CNY. -.-"
Other few friends ask me to go Chinatown to get the feel. Haha..
The one who asks me to go China to get the feel; if he sponsors me to go I’ll sure go.

Actually what I meant was CNY used to be an exciting holiday to me but now its not as exciting as before already.
Maybe due to aging…
When I was young, I look forward to CNY every year.
Even though my parents kept my Ang Pows money away and I wasn’t able to spend it, I still look forward to pre-CNY shopping, and then wear new clothes, visiting the relatives and eating Bak Gua.
However, now I don’t really look forward to it anymore.
In fact, I feel embarrass to take Ang Pows from my relatives but still I would like to take cos it’s MONEY.
It’s better to TAKE than GIVE right? (erm.. LOL! Talk about contradicting..)

Anyway, like the past years, I’ll still do visiting at BF’s relatives’ house in the morning and noon then at my relative house at night.
It’s like an every year routine.

This year we are having 4 days straight of long holiday, from Saturday to Tuesday!
This is the only thing that I look forward to. LOLOL!
I didn’t take any extra leaves because I find it a waste.
If I take leaves, I will be rotting at home doing nothing so I might as well coming back to work for 3 days.
I mean come on; it’s just a short week!

I guess I will be expecting more of this no CNY feel from this year onwards. HAHA~

Taiwan 2011 -– - – - – ✈

I've been dreading to post this Taiwan Trip. Haha..
I am really lazy.
Actually I drafted this post but still not fully done yet.
Anyway since I have time now, so I decided to continue with this post.
I'll try to remember as much as possible.
I guess I'm losing my memory. Old already~ :O

Travel period was from 10 Nov 11 to 15 Nov 11.
Trip to Taiwan in year 2011 is almost the same as year 2010, especially the feel of the weather.
It is because we coincidentally went on November.
(By right we should be going to Bangkok but due to the flood, we cancelled the trip).

We flew there by Tigerairway this time which is different from the previous whereby we took SQ and CX.
Stayed at Shin Shih Hotel which is the same as last year.
Choose the same hotel because we find the place is convenient and familiar, and also its cheap.
Total spending for air tix and hotel per pax is about SGD$600.
Which is cheap because we were on budget this time.

Touched down the airport and I went to buy the 3G Prepaid Data card.
I got the Taiwan Mobile at NT500 for 3days usage.
Then we took bus down to Taipei.

When we reached Taipei, its already the night time - 1 day wasted.
Checked into our hotel at about 10pm.
We were to hungry to go out to the night markets out there, so we just drop by the MOS Burger restaurant to grab our lunch & dinner.

The meal is very different from Singapore.
They have something like a buddy meal, so we got that.

Then we went to the convenient stores around the area to buy some neccessities like cup noodles, packed drinks and my collagen drinks.

I got this brand of collagen.
They have a few but do not have the DHC that I got in SG.
Actually I dont fancy the taste of this collagen drink but since I bought it, so i force myself to drink it all up.

Didnt go to Ximending or other places. Ended the first day like that.

On the 2nd day (11 Nov 2011)...

It was raining almost the whole day and it was really cold that day.
We went to Danshui.
Shopping on a rainy day is a total spoil mood.
Still we cannot miss out the good food there.
Miss the Ah Gei and the fish ball soup! *slurp*

I bet the bags are more pricey than in Bangkok.

I like Danshui because there are a lot of shops that sell accessories and at cheap price.

Haha i was being playful, trying all the nice glasses. ^~^

BF bought a leather bangle for himself.
There I was camwhoring myself with the big mirror.

After shopping at Danshui, we went back to our hotel to put our handful of stuff before heading out to Shinlin market for dinner and more shopping.

After we finished our food, we were walking out of the food market, we saw Sheauwei!

By right we should be meeting but their schedule was delayed so we didnt go shopping together.
Nonetheless, we were still very very happy to bump into each other in Taiwan!

On the 3rd day (12 Nov 2011)..

If I didnt remembered wrongly, we went to Taipei 101 shopping centre.
No, this time we didnt went up to the highest level as we went before already.
Maybe I'll bring my mum and sis this coming trip for the night view, since I haven seen the night scenery up at Taipei 101.

Purpose of going Taipei 101 was to help Veron to check the Longchamp bag.
Ended up there's nothing nice for the latest edition.
Thus BF and I went to find Ding Tai Fung (鼎泰風) for lunch.
The queue was really long like SG! -_-

For these 4 dishes, we spent NT715, estimated to be $32.50.
It should be cheaper than SG and some of the dishes are not found in SG too.

After that, we headed to Wu Fen Pu (五分鋪) for shopping.
Wu Fen Pu are the largest wholesales in Taipei.
Its like a MUST GO if you want to shop in Taipei.
There are too many varieties there.
Its quite a bad thing to me though because I wouldnt know what to buy or might regret buying if I saw cheaper stuff at the other store.
Due to winter season, I cant really find much spring clothes there.
Anyhow, I still bought some really good deal and pretty clothes too!
Can't wait for this coming April, I guess I will find more pretty clothes due to the spring season! :D

For dinner, we tried going to Shida Night Market (師大夜市).
Its our first time there, luckily we didnt get lost.
So we alighted at Taipower Building MRT Station (Green Line), and go out at Exit 3 then you just follow the crowd and you will reach there.

Sheauwei introduced to us this Lu wei(滷味) store in Shida Night Market.
I really like the Lu Rou Fan(滷肉飯)!

We were really full after we had this!
So we continue to walk around in Shida Night Market.
Its quite a small night market.
The crowd are really scary.

Some of the stores we don't even bother to go in due to the crowd. :(
Left the place after exploring.

As we still have time, we tried to go to Ning Xia Night Market (寧夏夜市) as it just a long walk from Shuanglian Station.

Lucky for GPS in iPhone this time round, we manage to find a lot of location and didnt get lost!
It's really a good tool when traveling overseas.
But of cos, you must know the address of those places.
I did lots of research for the trip that I am going ok! :D

From Shuanglian to Ningxia Night Market, it was really a long walk.
About 15 to 20mins I guess.

This night market is really small and mostly food store.
We didnt explore further down because it looked quiet at the back area.
Maybe because when we went there it was kinda late.

I wonder what game is this?

Nothing much.
We only bought finger food for supper then went back to the hotel.

On the 4th day (13 Nov 2011)..

Decided to go Maokong Gondola (貓空纜車).
Alight at Taipei Zoo station (Brown Line), and just a walking distance away to the place.
Along the way, there are so many cute figurine around so we took lots of photos!

We got the crystal cable car.

While waiting to board the cable car, we went to the Dancing Fountain.
It was very pretty.

Haha.. FAIL.

After that we went to queue to take the cable car.

We shared another container with another couple.
Feel so awkward. HAHA!
There are total of 4 stops.
Took about 15mins plus to reach the top.

Actually nothing much at the top, we had our lunch there.
The food is not very fanciful.
Kinda regret going up but anyhow we'll treat it as an experience yah.

After we left Maokong Gondola, we decided to go find the Hello Kitty Cafe.
Alight at ZhongXiao Fuxing station at the blue line (忠孝复兴) then exit 3.

When we reached the place, it was fully reserved.
Even for walk in, they do not entertain.
Its so sad!
The place was really princessy. Awww~

How I wish I could try them! Yum~

Since we couldnt go to the Hello Kitty Cafe, we decided to cab down to CHIA TE BAKERY CO - http://www.chiate88.com/.
Search online that its the best bakery shop for Laopo Bing and Suncake!

The place was really packed with people ordering.
Its indeed famous.
However, I guess due to their popularity and busy business, the sales person are not really friendly to us. :(
But we still bought a few boxes of suncakes, Laopo Bing and Pineapple tarts back to Singapore for our family and friends.

Carrying the heavy stuff, we walked from the shop to Nanjing East Rd station.
It was really a tedious job to do. :(
We even walked past by Taipei Arena whereby the concerts are held at!
Hope in future I'll be able to watch a concert there.
Should be a very happening there!

Went back to our hotel to put those heavy stuff and we headed out to Nanjichang Night Market (南机场夜市).
To go there, you can take a bus at Ximending.
Due to our first time, we waited for the bus for half an hour plus and it didnt came so we cabbed down the place.

Didnt regret coming this place because the food are nice!
I watch Guess show and they introduce this night market food.

Xiu Chang Shui Jiao Guan (秀昌水餃館)

I can tell you this is the best shui jiao I've ever ate.
I think I can finish all up without getting sick of it.
Yes, its that nice!

I only ate the noodle and it taste good!

We also tried the Hao Chi Ji Pai (好吃炸鸡).
In my opinion, it is better than the Hao Da Da Ji Pai (好大大鸡排) in Shilin.
I love the crispiness of the skin!

We didnt explore this night market and we took a bus back to Ximending.

I saw Ding Tea so we decided to try it.

Not bad. But I still prefer KOI. :D

Walked around Ximending and also made reservation for next day steamboat at Ma La (马辣).
We were attracted by a Street Rapper's rapping skill.
He called himself Husky (哈士奇).
His rapping skill is really amazing.
I've recorded it down.

After the show, we left and back to our hotel to rest.

On the 5th day (14 Nov 2011)..
Last day for shopping...

We went for our full lunch at Ximending; ate at Ma La (马辣).
Sheauwei told us that we need to do reservation beforehand, otherwise its hard to get a place there.
The queues are always full.
I guess its one of the popular steamboat.

We had a fulfilling and satisfying lunch.
Next, we continue to chiong our shopping at Ximending and Shilin as its our last day.

This Indian Teh Tarik is nice.
The guy doing it is good.
I record his stunt too, will post it out for you to see..

Back to the hotel to pack our stuff.

Conclusion for this trip, it was all good except that the 2nd day at Danshui due to the rain.
Other than that, it was a fine day and lucky for us we can do our shopping normally.
Moreover, I learn that apply the data plan is a good tool.
For communication with family and friends in SG and also for the GPS usage! Haha..
It just only 3 months but it feels like I haven been to Taiwan 1 or 2 years already.
Sometimes I really miss the food there.
Well for the next trip in April which is confirmed, I am going to explore a new state that is Taichung then to Taipei with my mum and sis!

I wasnt very attracted to this drama after I watched the first episode.
However, I become attracted to it after watching few more episodes.
Especially at the parts whereby Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa were together, my heart flutters. Hehe..
I could just smile, watching the show, without knowing that I'm smiling too. ^~^

Had sunday breakie with BF at Arbite.
Located at Serangoon Garen, very near Chomp Chomp!
Got to know this through few bloggers recommendation.
I was surprise this restaurant is also owned by my friend's brother!

The interior is small but cosy.
There are a lot of people when we are there.
Its almost full.

The food are not bad.
The portions are really big as if we are eating like a king for breakfast.

EngSang's Belated

Met up with the girls for Eng Sang's belated birthday celebration in the noon even though I dont feel really well. :(
Fall sick before CNY is really terrible!
Hope to get well soon so that I can eat all the Bak Gua, Love letters and so on.. :(

Start with a local movie - We are not Naughty.
This movie is surprisingly good.
Some parts make you laugh and some make you sob.
Its really touching at some parts, I heard people around me sobbing.
I didnt cry but almost, dont wanna smudge my eye makeup. :)
Daniel Chen is one of the main actor!
Both Shawn and Joshua really grown up and both are really handsome in their own way.
There's a brave girl who go bald in the show too!
And the small boy there is really cute lah..

After the 2hrs movie, we went over to Orchard for a walk.
Then bought EngSang birthday present.
She chose the present herself - GUESS necklace and earrings.

After which, we went over to Takashimaya for our dinner.
While waiting for our turn to get a seat, we took lots of photos. :D

So our dinner was at Crystal Jade Xiao Long Bao.
I guess its my second time trying out the food there.
The queue was really long that day.

The food are good except for the fried rice as it tastes kinda bland.
I had a good day with the girls.
Guess we'll have a almost monthly meet up for this year. Hee~

So I went to United Square; Twelve Cupcakes to get cupcakes!
I chanced upon this store on TV actually.
I got to know that this shop is opened by Jaime Teo and so I went to research for it.
Looking at the photos of the cupcakes, they indeed look tempting!

My favourite is, of course, Chocolate Chocolate Flavour! :D

Nowadays cupcakes have replace birthday cakes already.
In future, I can get this kind of cupcakes for my friends birthday. ^~^

Yesterday, I attended BF's relative's son wedding.
Always see people around me tying knot, I sometimes d wonder when will it be my turn, who will be the one and how I wonder how will it be like.
Nah.. actually its just thought. =p

So upon hearing that the newly wed tie knot after 14 years of relationship, I was surprised as well as envied.
How in the world, especially in this generation, will couples get together for 14 long years then got married.
I heard they are currently 28 years old so I concluded that they dated since 14 years old which is Secondary 2!
I guess its envious if your first partner is also your last one.

Well, I just feel that its hard to come back..
Moreover I guess in this world, there are really couples that fated to be together. :)

Veron's Chalet Gathering

After the JB trip that afternoon, we went back SG in the evening and went to Veron's chalet gathering.
Actually, I guess her purpose is for gathering, as she stated in the RSVP.
We reached at around 9PM and left at ard 2AM.

We had BBQ food.
Halfway, they BBQ-ing the food, it rained. -_-"
The guys even shelter under the umbrella to cook the food for us to eat. WIN!

After eating, we had card games.

Tried this monopoly deal game that Tommy brought.
And I had fun playing that! Hehe..
Also, tried playing poker card game.
The one whose card has lesser point win and also guess your own card game.

I'm quite happy that BF can get along with my friends, even my guy friends. :D

Nothing much for this weekend.
This 2 nights it rained and I just want to snuggle under my blanket. :p

I'm Vain Like That.

Seriously, I'm spending near $400 for this coming CNY!
Heart super pain now. HAHA!

In the noon, went in to JB with Sis and her friend, Leanne.
Asked BF along because I will not be worry as there's a guy with us. Hehe..
BF waited patiently for 2hr for us to done our nails! :D

By the way, we did at the same place last month.
Its called Nail Studio inside Holiday Plaza.
On that day itself, it was so packed and their appointment are full till 8PM!
We were lucky enuff to get a spot.
Moreover, they are increasing their price with effect from 9 Jan 2012 ~ 22 Jan 2012 due to CNY.
Count ourselves lucky again!

By the way, I did this design for RM208, estimated in SGD is $86.
This time more expensive the previous because of the 3D nail art and the diamonites. :D

Finished this 13 episodes long Taiwan drama acted by Ariel Lin (林依晨) and Chen Bo Lin (陳柏霖).
This drama is saying about a story of the "special friend".
Made me wonder is there pure friendship between a girl and a guy.
The story says a lot of things that kinda wakes me up.
Its like almost everyone life's story is in the show.

Even though the 2 main cast finally get together in the last episode.
Their short and sweet romance really touched my heart.
How I wished everybody's marriage are so blissful like that.
Anyway, worth the watch! Its a nice show. :)

I like the part when the guy said "真正对的那个人不是「另一个选择」，而是「唯一」".
When you love that someone, he/she should be your priorty and not an option.

Its like an annual thing that I do now.
Every coming CNY, many people will do their hair.
Last year, I went to try to lighter my hair color to beige brown.
This year, I tried perming!

So how u think I look?
Got a lot of good comments from my friends in Facebook.
Haha now I feel more like a 25 year woman..

I actually wanted something like the above.
However, the stylist said it will not last for long.
So he made something more curler for me.
I am quite satisfied with the result.
Hopefully I can maintain it well.

P.S: My hair is done at Cross Hair Salon in Yishun.
P.P.S: The perm that I done is called Japanese Spa Perm.

Last night, BF and I watched Sherlock Holmes movie before heading to MBS area to catch the spectacular firework display.
We caught it outside The Shoppe at MBS, the view is super great!
We were lucky I guess.
The bad thing is that we walked all the way from Marina Square to that area.
The human congestion and barrel make it hard to move and we have to route a very big round.
I cannot understand why the network there is so bad too!

SAY GOODBYE TO 2011!

2011 has been quite a great year for me I would say.
Other than not fulfilling my last year resolution of studying, I guess the others are still alright.

Thinkin back this year I've gone to a few places, especially travelling around the Malaysia side.
I went Redang, Penang and Cameron Highland.
The best memories would be at Redang where I celebrate my 24th Birthday!
The place is so beautiful and its one of a great place to be at.

My resolution for the coming year would be to pass my driving lesson!
I know I've been saying that for years already but this time I'm determine to get it.
I am gonna convert from manual to auto and change to a private student.
Hopefully I can get it soonest possible.
I'm gonna retake my FTT as the previous one has expired.

Next, would be to advance in my career.
I want to earn more money for saving for future as well as to travel more places like Korea and Japan.
Those places are expensive!

Actually I'm not looking for the next year as I'm going 25!
Damn it's only 5 more years stepping into the thirties!
Age for women are indeed scary as we grow older and older. Sigh~
I shall find a man who can marry me as soon as possible! Lol kidding~
Seriously after 30 years old, I shall not get married already.
I feel that it's too old to have kids lah!
This kinda of stuff makes me feel dilemma.
I envy those who get marry and have kids at a younger age because when their kids grow older, the parents are not so old, and they can look like siblings, the age gap are not big.
However, they have burdens and could lose out a lot of things after getting married and have kids at a young age.
Anyway, that's my thoughts only.
Maybe the others have different opinion as me.

After my company lunch, I met up with Engsang first.
Accompanied her to the denist to tighten her braces.
After which, we went for singing session until 8PM.
Jingwen worked until 7.30pm then she came and meet us at 8.30PM.

We had our dinner at Marche at 313@Somerset.
I haven eat there for quite long already.
Each of us ordered our main one and also got 1 pizza to share.

Today is the last day of work for Year 2011!
My office is only opened for half day!
Time seems so fast as if I'm racing with it.
Tried to finish up my work as much as possible because my boss wants the report early next year and I will only start work on the 4th which is 1 day later than my accountant.

Anyway after work, we had company lunch at Garibaldi Italian Restaurant & Bar which is near Purvis Street, near Bugis area.
Sometimes i really dislike going to Italian restaurant because I couldnt understand the menu!
For the food I ordered, it's still not bad, except for the starter which I am not really interested.

However the food choice is not as much.

Super Idol 6/ 超级偶像第一屆校際爭霸戰

I am not sure should I name this as Super Idol 6 because the main contestants are from the school and some from the society.
Anyway, the winner was announced on 3 Dec 2011.
1st place is 李懿珅 (Li Yi Sheng).
In the 2nd place is 陳婕 (Chen Jie) from ShangHai.

Actually I find that this time the competition is not as interesting as Super Idol 5.
I watched this series is due to 詹宜靜 (Zhan Yi Jing)!
I thought she would be one of the contestants, however she joins just to PK the other contestants and lost on the 2nd round. =(

Anyway, Chen Jie has a very good nice.
Her performances are also very perfect.
I cant really remember any songs that I can intro to you.

There's one guy who is from Singapore.
I think he's quite good too!
He's name is 黃小龍 (Lawarence Huang Xiao Long) and he's one of the Top 10, in the 9the place.

He did a good job here.
And got quite a high score.

They are quite lame.
In my opinion. the previous series is better than this one. :)

Just completed this drama yesterday.
Total of 10 episodes, a short and sweet drama.
I guess its one of the best drama that I've watched this year! :D
Well, I love beautiful love story. ^~^

The storyline are quite unexpected at some point and make me curious, wanting to get the whole picture of the story.
It is a mixture of romance and comedy.

Kenji Wu (吴克羣) is so attractive in this show.
I was so attracted to him. Hehe..

Got to know this actress, Li Jia Ying (李佳穎), I think she's pretty and sweet.
Look like a girl next door but still got the playful side of her. :)

Gui Gui (吴映洁) acting skill seems to be improving.
I thought it wasn't her because she looked kind of mature, not like the past show that I've watched.
Good job! :)

Rhydian Vaughan (鳳小岳) is 1 year older than me but he got a very matured look. Haha..
At the first sight, I think he's quite good looking but after few episode, I dont think he's that attractive. :p
However, in this show, some of the part he acted humourous too.

Of cos for this show, the 2 songs by Kenji Wu are loved!
Both songs are written by him, he's really talented.

SMRT Breakdown

I guess the current HOT topic is the SMRT train issues that all started out last week.
Last Wednesday, the circle line was down, it did not affect me at all.
Until the breakdown of North South Line (NSL) on last Thursday, it really affected me and a lot of people.
Reason is NSL is the line that I take almost everyday.

Last Thursday, after my keyboard class, usually I will take 851 back home.
The bus ride took like 1hr for me to reach home.
I didn’t want to take the long ride, so I went to City Hall to take train.
To my surprised, I found out that the train was down.
There are a lot of people gathering at the station and some going to take the shuttle buses.
In the end, I took the circle line to Dhoby Ghaut and then go all the way to Sengkang and take 965 back home.
I am thinking now that fortunately I took the long route because I might get caught in the jam at the town area.
My friend took 2hrs+ to get home from Chinatown (usually 1hr ride).
It’s kinda ridiculous.
It’s no doubt that people will get angry with SMRT.

Back to work yesterday, and I was late by 5 minutes due to the reduced speed of the trains.
I guess I will have the phobia of taking the trains if the train don’t recover soon.
On my way home yesterday, the train suddenly jerked very hard.
For people who didn’t hold the handrail, might fall and it’s really dangerous.
Luckily I was sitting down at that time.
The train ride is also very bumpy as if the train will fall off the tracks.
I am hoping now that the train system will recover as soon as possible.

However, I'm also thinking that Singaporeans really are living in our comfort zone with everything provided for us.
Little things happen; people will blame this and complain that.
We have no natural disasters.
Even a small flood at Orchard would cause a big commotion among the people.
Seriously, we are all fortunate people unlike the other countries or like Thailand who suffers from flood disasters.

I received my second X'mas gift from BF.
Yay Audio Technica headphone ish <3!

We caught Alvin and the chipmunks 3.
I find that it is not as fantastic this time.
The previous one is better.
However, its still a funny movie especially at the part where Simon turned into a flirtatious "French" Simon.

Sunday is a day to stay in due to the wet weather.
We caught SNSD Japan Tour video on youtube.
I think BF drooled from the start of the video till the end. HAHA!!
I cannot deny their charm on the stage la.
They are really pretty especially Yoona, Taeyeon, Soo Young and Jessica. Hehe..
It would be so nice if I'm able to catch their first concert in Singapore!
Oh well, shan't brood over it anymore since its over. :)

Alritey, nothing much for the weekend.
I am looking forward to our Xmas dinner next Saturday.
Its been quite sometimes I last ate good food.
So I am craving for GOOD food yah. *FATDIEME! :)

Finally finished this drama.
Rainie Yang 2nd drama in 2011.
I feel that Drunken to Love You is still better than this show.
The first 2-3 episode is quite boring for me, almost gave up watching the show.
Luckily it gets interesting at the end.
Some parts seems to be like a repeat, no twist which makes the show quite boring.
Summing up, so the end is a happy ending which most would want to see.

Weird People

Why am I encountering weird people nowadays?
I don't think I have offended anyone.
Within a month, I haven already met 2 crazy people!
One of them was few weeks ago when I meet up with Veron to Orchard Road.
Suddenly, a crazy young teenage girl shouted at me for nothing!
I was too stunned to know what words came out from her mouth.
I don’t even dare to react because I wouldn’t know if she and her friends will attack me or not.
Seriously, she looked like a retard when she shouted at me.
Nowadays the young generations do things without going through their brains is it?
I wonder what they are thinking seriously!

The other incident happened just yesterday.
Usually Sheauwei and I will hold each other hands while walking.
FYI, we're not lesbian just very very good friends and it’s quite normal for girls to hold hand right? Haha…
We were walking along a shopping mall in Sentosa.
Suddenly a Caucasian walking towards us grabbed my arms and said "why not you hold my hand instead of her?"
He looked like a drunkard but I'm not sure if he is.
Anyway, I quickly shook off his hand and walked away.
Sheauwei was very angry with the man's attitude.

Why are there such thing happening to me?
It’s really a crazy experience that I had.
Luckily both times I have my friends with me.
What if my friends are not with me?
I cannot think what consequence will there be.
Please no more of such nonsense anymore!

Spa & Massage Session

Met up with Sheauwei for our spa and massage session finally!
We bought this deal coupon from deal.com.sg
Its $88, usual price is around $300+.
Sound worthy right?

Appointment at 5.30pm and we reached 30mins earlier.
We choose green tea scrub and detoxifying massage.
Then we were ushered to a room to get change to a robe and we start the scrub.
After the scrub, we had steam bath for 25mins then we washed off the scrub.
Next, we proceed to a 1hr massage.
Actually, the massage is quite painful at some parts of our body. :(

Anyway, its a good experience.
The place is beautiful and classy.
The service is good too and no hard selling, asking us to sign packages. ^~^
At the end of the session, we were also being served red bean soup as desserts.

In A Day..

In the morning, I went for my Pre-Lasik Evaluation.
Did the tests and the result was good.
Dr Juliana Theng said that my cornea is thick enough to go for bladeless Lasik.
I booked my LASIK surgery on 16 February 2012.
Hopefully by the time I have saved enough money for the surgery~

For the test, they put an eyedrop for me which I cannot see anything near which makes me feel like I got 'Lao Hua Yan'. Haha..
Its also make my eyes quite uncomfortable when I am at outdoor as it was very glaring.
Luckily 4hrs later, everything is back to normal again.

So BF came over and fetch me.
We went to Joo Chiat to try the famous chicken rice that he found - Tian Tian Hainanese Chicken Rice.
I have tried a lot of chicken rice as its one of my favourite dishes.
In my opinion, Tian Tian Chicken Rice is that its not the best.
I still prefer the chicken rice from Yishun Blk 925 and Tiong Bahru Chicken rice at Chinatown.
Tian Tian Chicken Rice also incurred 10% service charge. -_-
The service is like any other hawker center just that they take order from our seats only.

After our lunch, we went down to Orchard for X'mas shopping.
I bought Sheauwei and BF presents for them.

This pretty Swarovski Pen is for Sheauwei.
I have no idea what to get for her.
Thanks to BF who suggested this idea for me.^~^

After our Xmas shopping, we went down to NEX to catch our movie.

Caught this Hong Kong Ghost Stories movie.
There's 2 stories in a show.
I think this movie is not bad as we really got scared.
The storyline is interesting as well.
Quite worth the watch.
After which we headed for our dinner at Kovan.

I was surprised that there's eclipse.
Sad that I missed it as during it happens, I was still watching movie.
Thanks to you twitter that I got the news.
However when I look up the moon, the eclipse is almost ending.
Didnt catch the view whereby the moon turn orange. :(
Happens once in a decade!! How can I missed it. Sigh..

Fallen Sick

I’ve fallen sick for about 2 weeks.
I had sore throat since last week then to cough.
After eating the crepe from JB, my cough got worst.
Ate the medicine and it doesn’t seems to be working. :(

Last night, I had a slight fever at 38.0 degree celsius.
Luckily, it subsided when I woke up this morning. 37.1 degree celsius.
I’ve been sleeping quite early these 2 days.
The cough causes me headache and the medicine makes me drowsy.
I also had muscle ache at my stomach area due to coughing too often.

I have not been sick for quite a long time so I guess the sickness is quite bad this time.
Hope to get well soon because its Xmas season.
I want to enjoy and eat good food!

JB with the Family

Starting this post with pictures of me and my sis!
Its been so long since I take photos with her. :D

Sis asked me to accompany her to JB to do nails as she said its cheap doing in there.
When mum knows about it, she wants to tag along.
So, I brought them in as its their first time going by bus.

From City Square, we cabbed down to Holiday Plaza for RM8.
Holiday Plaza was said to be the popular shopping centre before City Square was built.

We did our nails at Nail Studio located at the highest floor.
I like the shop concept.
It is big and pretty.

This is my current nail design!
I love it.
I only do manicure, this is gelish.
Total cost is RM115, estimated SGD$47, which is pretty cheap!
If I do in SG, it will cost me more than $65 already..

We walked around Holiday Plaza.
Actually there's nothing much to shop and the shopping centre is quite old.
However, there are a lot of salons.
So I am wondering, maybe I can do my hair there since we are going back next month to do nails for CNY!

Its really big!
Kinda regret eating this because its the culprit for my sickness now. :(

Anyway, when we went out of Holiday Plaza, we saw KSL is just nearby, so we walked over to shop.
Mum and Sis bought load of stuff because after the currency exchange, the stuff is definitely cheaper than SG by few dollars so they tempted to buy the stuff.
As for me, I didnt get anything. Haha..

We settled our dinner at Seoul Garden at City Square before heading back home.
Spent about 10 hours in JB.
Felt so tired after going back home.
I guess mum and sis are happy with their buys in JB. LOL~

Time for Retail Therapy!

Due to unforseen circumtances, Sheauwei and my SPA session was postpone to next week!
Nonetheless, we still meet up for catching up and retail therapy~
Frankly speaking, I haven been buying clothes in Singapore for a few months already.
Good job on saving money! *give myself a pat at the back*

We had our brunch at Shokudo Japanese Pasta and Pizza Restaurant.
Ordered a set meal and find the food is not bad.
Just that the portion is quite small and it does not make me feel full.

After our lunch, we start our shopping.
From H&M to 313@Somerset to ION!
Its like the whole day shopping.
She bought me my first Xmas present - A top from Forever 21. ^~^
I'm still pondering on what to get for her.
Shopping for presents seem to be a hassle for me nowadays and I am getting lazy to think of what to buy for the person. D;

Anyway, she really spend quite a lot on that day!
She bought a dress for her cousin birthday celebration and also Xmas present for her BF.
I only bought 1 top from Zara. :D

Oh, Rainy Day...

The sun was shining so brightly in the morning but the next moment it poured so heavily!
Our kite flying session that day was spoilt. :(

BF and I went to Marina Barrage but the sky was so dark and then it poured.
For 3 freaking hours, it didnt stop.
Wasted our trip and time at Marina Barrage. Sho sad!
Still we find some things to do there while waiting for the time to past.
We walked around the barrage and also there's a tour explaining on Marina Barrage so we followed them around.

At ard 5.45pm, we left the place to the town.
Ate dinner and then we bought movie the tickets for Almost Famous.

Actually this show is not really up to my expectation.
The show is rather draggy but the nice part is that its very funny at the front part of the show.
I watched this show is to somehow show support to Michelle Chong's production and also Xiao Gui is acting in it.
Xiao Gui is really cute in the show lah.. ^~^
Sad to say that this show is not very worthy to watch. :(

Hmm cant really see Goo Hara (Kara) abs but she is known for the ant waist!
Her waist measurement is only 22inch! Omg i ish so envy!!

Yuri (SNSD) waistline is slim and her abs are good too!
She's tall and slim!

I've started running last week but still not on a regular basis.
I am trying to do so because my stamina is not good.
Thinking if i should sign up for classes like pilates or cardio. HAHA!
Maybe i shouldn't, I think I need to be more self-discipline.
Even if i couldnt get a nice 11 abs, i still hope that i lose some fats out of these execrise. ^^

So this December should be a busy meetup session with my friends for the weekend again!

4th Dec, I am gonna meet SheauWei for a SPA session in Sentosa.
I hope its good as we bought the deal online.
Need to relax ourselves~
Also, we need to catch up, its been months since our last meetup (exclude meeting her in Taipei).

5th Dec, Am going JB with my sister for naily session.
Its the first time I'm going in without BF's accompany.
I hope nothing happens. *touchwood*

10th Dec, I going for pre-lasik evaluation.
OMG YESSS, i am saving up for Lasik now and probably I will be doing in after CNY next year if I passed the evaluation! :D

17 Dec, meeting up with EngSang and Jingwen for Xmas gift exchange.
I hope nothing cock up again. Haiyo~

23 Dec, meeting up with Steph and Veron for Xmas feast.
Being a good girl friend, I am gonna send flowers to their office for Xmas.
They should be very touched. Hehehehe...

25 Dec, on this actual day is for BF to celebrate together.
Still unsure what are we going to do on that day.
Same goes to NYE~

I wonder when is my company annual dinner.
Heard that my office will be closed from 30 Dec to 3 Jan and we'll resume work on 4th Jan.
About 3 days of rest! :D

The MNET ASIAN MUSIC AWARD (MAMA) 2011 has finally come to an end.
I bet a lot of you who are KPOP craze who didnt go to Singapore Indoor Stadium, like me, will stay at home watching the live on Channel U!

In my opinion, even though the MCees speak korean language that we mostly couldnt understand, the performances by the artists are still really awesome!
I feel so high even watching the show home, needless to say if I were there.

Anyway, I am quite happy with the winner.
However, I hope IU could win the best OST and Best Female Artist!
KIM HYUN JOONG won the Best Male Artist!
So happy for him. xD

Forensic Heroes III / 法證先鋒III

I don't usually watched Hong Kong Drama but I really like the Forensic Heroes series.
I've watched Part 1 and Part 2.
This year they came out Part 3.
I was elated when BF told me that part 3 is out!

Total of 30 episodes.
There's cast change in Part 3 but it story is still as good as before!
For those who doesn't know about this drama, it is mystery solving and investigation kind of show, something like CSI, which is my favourite genre!
So I guess Part 4 will be out because it seems to have 'to be continue' towards the end.
I hope TVB wont let those who love this show wait too long~ :)

MNET ASIAN MUSIC AWARDS 2011

This year MAMA 2011 will be held in Singapore tomorrow!
When I first saw the commercial on TV, I was really surprised and find it unbelievable!
Up till now, I'm still very curious why its held in Singapore.
Whatever it is, Singaporean are really lucky ya~

I was sooooo tempted to get the tickets to go and see the show.
However, since its showing live on TV, i might as well watch it on TV or online. Hehe~

Anyway, I am seeing news of the korean stars have reached Singapore already!
OMG, I'm cho excited for this event even though I am not going to the Singapore Indoor Stadium
I bet many KPOP fanatics are really excited like me as well!
Super Junior, Girls' Generation, 2NE1, Beast, Miss A, Hyuna, Kim Hyun Joong and many more will be here!
How I wish BoA, The Queen of KPOP, will be here as well then I will get the ticket to see her! :p

Anyway, I bet its gonna be a good show tomorrow!
CANT WAIT! :D

Cameron Highland

We bought the deal coupon to Cameron Highland.
2D1N only $88 per pax, including return coach and hotel stay + breakfast.
I guess its should be quite worthy.

On the Friday night (15 Oct 2011) at 10.30pm, we took the bus to Cameron Highland.
Reached there on 16 Oct 2011, in the mornicng 7am.
On the way, I couldn't sleep much due to the street lights shining on my face.
It was a tiring day for me. :(

We reached Cameron Highland at about 7am in the morning.
A total of 9hours of trip!
We had nasi lemak as our breakfast in one of the cafeteria there.
After which, we went back to our bus and wait.
A tour agency came up and introduce packages of tour in Cameron Highland.
I scanned the brochure so you can take a look at it.

The tours are Leisure Tour, Nature Discovery Tour, Agro Delight Tour, Sunrise Spectacular, Jungle Trekking and Moonlight Rendezvous in the Forest.
We signed up for the Agro Delight Tour which dinner is Steamboat that is included in the tour!

After signing up for the other tourists in the bus, we were sent to our hotel at Hotel Equatorial Hill Resort.

We were there very early at around 9am+.
We checked in but we still couldnt get our room until 12pm.
Our tour starts at 2.30pm, and since we had so much time so we went out to take a walk, exploring the area.

After walking around, we settled at a coffeeshop to eat lunch.

Bak Kut Teh. The herbal soup is quite strong.

After we received the call from the hotel, we went back and check in to our room.
Seriously, this hotel is the worst hotel that I've lived in!
The sound proof of the room is quite bad.
The wood of cupboard and table are chipped off as if there's termites living in there eating the wood.
However, I guess its under renovation now so I hope it will turn out better.

At 2.30pm, we assemble at the lobby to wait for the van to come and fetch us for our tour.
Our tour guide is Gavin.
I think he's very good.
He's not only friendly, he's willing to answer any doubts we had.

First stop is the conventional farming whereby I saw the growth of broccoli, cauliflower, Lettuce, cabbages and many more.

Tried a slice of raw corn and its really damn sweet and tasty!
YES i bet many of you doesnt know that corn can be eaten RAW!
Actually I don really eat corn but this is really nice.
And I love drinking corn soup!

Both BF and I bought 10 corns back to SG. Haha..

Next stop, we went to see the water-cress farm.
Tip from the tour guide: He said that eating more water cress, for girls, will give you very good skin!

The 3rd stop is Cactus Point.
A lot of pretty pot flowers and very exotic cactus!
Heard the tour guide said that there are few hundreds species of cactus.

These cactus are HUGE!

Next we went to strawberry picking farm.
BF didnt wan to pick the strawberries as its kinda expensive.
Therefore, we just wait for the others to finish picking and we went around to explore.

He also tried the fondue strawberries.

Next we went to the hydroponics farm.
I remember I went to a farm in Singapore when I was in secondary school.

Above 2 photos is kinda irrelevant. HAHA.
BF wanted me to take this photos because he find it cute. wth~

Bought this waffle and it really yummy!
Kinda craving for it now~ :S

Next stop, i guess we went to the flower nursery farm.
Didnt get to take any photos there because it was raining heavily and the flower didnt bloom.
We didnt stay long then we proceed to our last destination.

STEAMBOAT!!!

The food is not bad and the veggies are really fresh!

So we went back out hotel at around 8.30pm.
Stayed in the hotel, watching TV and lights off early.

Woke up the next day early for breakfast and prepare to go back to SG.
Reached Singapore at 8pm.
I can remember during the trip back its eat, sleep and play. HAHA.

Conclusion for this trip.
I guess I learn a few new stuff and see new things too during the tour.
The weather there is also very unpredictable!
The rain comes and goes.
Anyway, the trip is not bad and do enjoy the tour. :)

Stay In

Nobody date me and I stay at home doing NOTHING at all.
Actually had plans but my friends couldnt make it. Boohoo~
BF met out his friend at night for night shooting of Xmas decoration in town.
He'll meet me later at night for supper. :D

The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1

Just got home not long ago from watching The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1 with EngSang today!
When I first watched the trailer for this show, I was very very excited about it.
Last Sunday, I found out that I can booked the tickets already.
Seats were almost full everywhere! Like expected lah..

Part 1 is mostly romantic scenes where by Edward Cullen and Bella Swan got married.
After which, they went for honeymoon and she got pregnant.
And the story goes on.....
Dont wanna say too much spoiler.
Little action scene is in this show.
The show ended with Bella Swan woke up with her eyes in red, which means she was turned into a Vampire.
Waiting for Part 2 now which it will be out in Singapore next year.

Overall, I guess its not bad.
However, it will be good if there's subtitles because I can't really catch what they said at some parts. :)

BoA - Milestone

You Are The Apple Of My Eye

Its Monday bluessss..
Didnt slept well last night and I almost faint in the train this morning.
What a good start for this week. =/

So how's your weekend goes?
On Saturday, BF and I went to watch You Are the Apple of My Eye (那些年, 我們一起追的女孩)!

Finally I get to watch this show as I have wanted to watch it since I know its showing in Singapore.
Actually I wanted to catch it when i was in Taiwan but we didnt have the time so we dropped the idea.
I really like this movie and I had a good laugh.
However, I dislike the ending because both lovers didnt get together. So sad!

In a show, the girl said something like "愛情最美好的部份，就是停留在曖昧的階段......。" give me a deep impression.
The sentence is so true. sigh~
Anyway, worth the watch!
Up till Saturday, the seats were still almost full in Cathay and GV.
Therefore BF and I went to watch at Filmgarde, Iluma.

The theme song for the show 那些年 sang by 胡夏.
I like it very much!

After the show, we went for our dinner at Porn's.
A Thai restaurant opened by Pornsak.
I walked past this restaurant every weekday to my workplace but I've never get to try.
Finally got to try it.
My comment is that the food is not as fantastic as Ah Loy Thai at Shaw Towers.
Still prefer Ah Loy Thai as my number 1 Thai food restaurant.

Pineapple Fried Rice

Chicken drumstick stuff with filling.

Out of all, I only like the chicken.
As for pineapple rice, I prefer Ah Loy Thai one.
Its my first time trying Phat Thai, I think its still not bad but its very oily.
We paid $33 for these 3 dishes and I find it quite expensive, not very worthy actually.
Disclaimer: This is my opinion only. Different people have different taste for food.

After our dinner, we decided to go down to Marina Barrage to chill.
Stayed for an hour plus and we went back home.

Sunday is a usual rest day for us.
Sometimes I wish I dont just waste my day away like that.
But anyway, it became a habit I guess.

Friends and Friends of Friends

Veron organized a big group of prawning session at Haibin on Friday.
Why do I titled it as friends and friends of friends?
It is because this group we have some are our friends and the rest are my friends' friends.
Total of about 9 ~ 10 people altogether.
BF also joined the session after his year end party at work.

A few of my friends are new at prawning.
Only about 5 - 6 people are prawning.
I didnt prawn because firstly i am not very good at it and secondly, I dont want to waste money. HAHA!
3hrs of prawning at Haibin cost you $33.
They up their price by $3.
Its not cheap yo~ ._.

Total all of them caught about 30+ prawns.
One lucky guy caught a biggie prawn!

Its the first time in our group who caught a big prawn! :D

After the 3hrs session, we BBQ food to eat.
Some caught the prawns but don eat the prawns.
I think they like the leisure of prawning only.
As usual we oso bought food like hotdog, crabstick and mashmallow for BBQ-ing.

Everything ended at around 2.30am+.
Guess we all had a great time socializing even though some of us might not know each other well. :)

I just completed this show yesterday.
This show is showing the last episode on the friday when i was in Taiwan.
When we got back to the hotel, its already left few minutes before the show end so I came back SG to watch the last episode.

This is a romance drama acted by Lynn Hung (熊黛林) and VanNess Wu (吳建豪).
The first few episode is filmed in Paris. PARIS!! A place known for its romance. Awww~
Even the photo above look so fairytale-like.

Lin Chu Man is a fashion model who does not prejudice against a man for being short, fat, ugly and old, as long as he is rich. Ending My Long Holiday

Hello I am back from my trip yesterday evening.
Took a day off today to rest and will be back to work tomorrow. :(

Anyway a lot of people been asking me the same question - "How's your trip? Is it fun?".
I kept replying the same answer to them.
Trip this time is not as fun as the previous one.
I am not sure why.
Maybe this time this trip is last minute and very unplanned as we're supposed to be heading to Bangkok.
Nonetheless, I bought lots of good stuff back from there.
So I guess this trip is still not that bad. LOL!

I'm not sure I'll drag until when to blog this Taiwan trip post as I still have not even start on my Cameron Highland trip post. Haha..
Getting more and more lazy in blogging already.
Still, be patient and wait for it then. ;)

Off to Taiwan!

In few hours time, I will be off to Taiwan again.
My 3rd trip with BF, 3 years in a row.
Happy to go again.
Its like we will never get sick of it!
Gonna enjoy the cooling weather which is about 19 - 22 degree celcius.
And of cos the FOOD!!
Even though its winter there now and I cant get much clothing, I'm still going to buy many makeup products, accessories, beauty products and food back!
Going to visit some new places too! :D

Long Weekend

So how do you spent you long weekend this time?
Mine was kinda boring..
I slept too much on my Saturday and Sunday. =(

Anyway, over the long weekend I caught 2 recents movies.

Production from Singapore.
Its story about the army life in Tekong which they encountered the supernatural.
The plot of the story is a little confusing towards the end.
The suspense of the movie is not bad.
There were 3 guys sitting beside bf were scare that they covered their eyes. LOL?

Next show, I watched was In Time.
Before watching this movie, I wasnt really interested with it and don't exactly know what the story is like as I didnt watch the trailer.
However, I feel that this show is quite nice.
In their world, they do not use money but they used their time.
It tells us that Time = Money = Precious.
Exactly what the slogans are shown in the poster below.

On 22 Oct, BF and I went to check out this Museum of Horror located at Scape Warehouse.
Heard that its the second time that they are having this.
Truthfully, I am not like those girly girls who are afraid of those wore mask and dress up as "demons", "ghost" or "monster".
The only thing I am afraid is when they suddenly jumped out and shocked me.
Therefore, I am compliment myself as brave girl. :D

Shall not go in every little details and we shall jump straight to photos!

Today is the actual Halloween which falls on Monday.
I bet most people celebrated it on the Saturday and maybe Sunday.
I was at Orchard that night and I saw many "ghosts" came out to play. HAHA!
I guess the most happening place would be at Clarke Quay where everyone dressed up as demons, devils, and other uniforms.
Didnt get the chance to go by, but I know its should be very fun there.

So... I won a pair of “Horror-thon” tickets consisting of 3 movies “The Thing”, “Paranormal Activity 3”, and “Blood Creek” from Cathay Cineleisure!
BF and I went to watch the movies from 9pm to about 3am last Saturday.
Always wanted to try marathon movie so I guess it was a experience of watching 3 movies at one go. LOL!

The first movie is The Thing.
Its a show on an ailen attacking the human.
The ailen are able to shape the same appearance as the human who caught the virus.
I think the plot is quite good as we wouldn't know who are the one who caught the virus.
There are lots of gory image for this show.
BF already watched this movie with his friends, so I kept asking him what's happening next but the naughty boy didnt want to tell me. :/

The second movie is Blood Creek which is coming on theatre soon in Singapore.
The starting of the show seems to bore us but till the ending, the show gets more exciting.
Its about a man who turns to a demon by drinking living human blood, and in the end got killed by 2 men.

Paranormal Activity 3 is the last show we watched.
The first and second series of the show I didnt watched because we thought its not nice.
However, its the most irritating show I've ever watched.
It is because we didnt know when will the next scene be like.
Most of the time, I am covering my ears while watching. -_-

Out of 3 movies, I like 'The Thing' and 'Paranormal Activity 3' because of the fear factor.
Once again, thanks Cathay Cineleisure for the tickets. :D

Boots is ♥

Bought this pair of boots from Forever21 for my coming Taiwan Trip!
The actual color is ivory and it matches my coat that I bought from Taiwan last year!

You wouldn't know how much I love boots.
Sadly, in Singapore with this weather, I will not have any chance to wear it.
The only chance I got to wear is to travel to colder country.

I guess the trip this time's gonna be fun as I'm meeting SheauWei there too!
It's so unplanned.
It's just that due to food in BKK and BF and I make decision to go Taiwan trip which coincidentally the 3days SW and her BF will be in Taiwan, so we got to meet up!

So, It's about one week to the trip and I'm getting excited each day.
I'm packing my luggage today.
Yay!
Thinking of happy stuff makes me feel happy and to forget the unhappiness at work. :D

Before now, I was quite agitated, stressed and worried about my trip to Bangkok.
As you all know that Bangkok flooding situation is getting worst each day.
Everything for this trip is almost plan and due to this natural disaster, spoilt everything.
It's just so disappointing.

BF and I tried to get Jetstar for an answer and finally we just got an answer from them today which we are quite satisfied with.
So our date of travel is almost the same and this time we are heading back to Taiwan again!
Just, I booked everything - the air tickets and hotel stay.
I cannot believe its happening!
I thought I am not going to Taiwan this year but it's happening in 2 weeks time! Omgosh!
FYI, I am going Taiwan with family next year April. LOL!

Still, I wish I could go back to Bangkok in near future.
Hope by the time, nothing cocked up.!
Anyway, I am just too excited so I am sharing it here.

A mid week public holiday!
It seems that this week will past fast.
With loads of workload, I'm sure my time will be fast like rocket!

Anyway, woke up early today and BF drove us down to AMK hub for a morning movie.
Watched The Sorcerer And The White Snake as I wanted to watch it.
The only slot in the morning - 10.25AM.

The storyline is almost the same as the past.
In the new age, movie are trending on 3D image and graphic effect.
With this elements, I guess it makes the show a little interesting.
To me, I feel that this show isnt really that bad.

After the movie, we headed down to Kovan for lunch.
It has been raining almost everyday.

Actually nothing much on a mid week PH.
We just slept the day away. HAH!
The day just wasted like that.
So yup. nothing much.

A Little Different From Other Saturday

Actually planned to go Batam with Veron but she didnt want to go anymore so she forfeited the tickets.
Thus I met up with bf, usual time spending together.

I woke up 1hour late but luckily, it didnt spoilt the outing plan.
Had our brunch at the food court then headed for our movie.
We watched Real Steel as BF wanted to watch the show.
This movie demand is too high that we couldnt get a good seat in the late noon or night.
Therefore, we had to watch it in the early noon.

A show which guys like it very much because it about the robots, I guess.
Actually I wasn't very interested in the show at first.
However, I have to admit that this show is nice towards the end.
Its rather touching and I can see and hear people sobbing.
I feel that its worth the watch.

After the show, we went to Museum of Horror at Scape warehouse.
I will do a seperate post for that.
A lot of gory photos. Hehe..

After which, we went shopping at a few places before we headed back to BF house.
Drove out for dinner at East Coast Road.
I was craving for the 328 Katong Laksa and especially the Rojak there.
However, the rojak sold out already when we got there. Very disappointed!

We went to the store located at 216 East Coast Road.
By right, we should go to 51 East Coast Road, that would be the right store.
However, the taste of the laksa is almost the same.
51 East Coast road has more people than the one at 216 East Coast Road.

Next, we went to the Punggol Waterway park.
BF wanted to take a look there.
And seriously, in future the people who live there is very fortunate!
The place is really beautiful~
Aww I wish I can live there as well..

I love colourful neon lights!

The next day is the opening of the waterway park if i am not wrong because we saw the news on TV.
No wonder they are kinda doing rehearsal, like testing the lights and sounds, for the event.

So this is our difference from other Saturday for this week. :D

Impromtu Singing Session

Its like a mixed friends of friends gathering.
Which means I know a new friend, Lawrence.
4hrs+ of singing session today is quite fun and really satisfying.
Maybe we can have this group of khakis for singing session. :D

Kyo Nichi Japanese Ramen

Bought this Kyo Nichi Japanese Ramen deal coupons from Deal.com.sg
BF drove down to China Square Central.
Actually we didnt heard or went to this place before, luckily we got GPS.

Finding this Kyo Nichi Japanese Ramen store is quite difficult because the store number is not correct.
Actually its near the Sushi Tei area.

When we stepped into the restaurant, it was really empty.
Before us, there's one couple, which means there's like 4 people in the restaurant.
Not sure is it because we went 3pm in the noon, that's why there's no people.
There are many seatings available.
The ambience is not good.
There's no music playing which makes the whole place seems lifeless.
As for the food, I think its not bad.
I wanted to try this Japanese raman because of the rich collagen in the soup.

For me, I tried this Char Siew Raman.
The soup is quite oily, not sure is it because of the collagen from the pork bones.
The ramen is not as Q as the ramen from Ippudo and Ajisen.
Plus point is the generous portion of the char siew which is very tender.

I didnt try it but i guess it almost the same as mine.

Overall, I feel that the food is not bad.
Worth the try.
The portion is satisfactory because after my bowl of ramen, I couldn't finish up the chawamushi that we ordered.

BAD WEEK

Its finally the Friday.
However I'm still feeling a little grumpy and sleepy.
I slept earlier yesterday night but still feel that I'm lacking of sleep right now.

Anyway the past few days had been quite unlucky at work.
A lot of problem keep throwing onto me.
One after another and its everyday different problems.
Therefore, I was rather busy especially yesterday - Skipped lunch and also OT.
Actually all those problems can be prevented.
I guess its just bad luck for this week. :(
But still feel good that the days passed a little faster than usual just that I hate the stressful and shagged period, it makes me feel that I'll get older faster.

Nonetheless, weekend is coming to our way.
And I'll be heading Cameron Highland this weekend for a short getaway and the next weekend to Batam.
Looking forward to it. :D

Fresh Look of My Blog!

Finally a year plus past since the last blogskin (Theme: Life's A Melody).
This time its just a simple design, not the previous complicated design.
And the theme as you can see its Live Laugh Love.
Live, Laugh, Love has somehow become my life motto now.
Live Healthy. Laugh Happily. Love Heartily.

I only took about 3hrs to do the design + the coding. :)
But I guess I will change the colours of the border.
Too blue already, dont you think so?
Anyway, I've added the comment column and thinking of removing the cbox soon.

BLACK HAIR!

Its been the 2nd week of me being a black hair girl.
The color is slowly fading to dark brown, I guess it only can be seen under the sunlight.
Seriously, sometimes I'll still do not get use to it.
And I still feel that having beige brown hair looks better in photos.
Like Japanese girl. :p

Black hair really gives my face look kinda dull.
Anyway, I'll slowly getting use to it. :)

The New Circle Line to Holland Village!

Actually, we planned to go to ECP but we were afraid that the rain will ruin the plan so we change to exploring the circle line.
Now the circle line is fully open, we can go places like Holland Village, Labrador Park, Botanic Garden and Har Par Villa easily!
Its so accessible now unlike the past, if we were to go there, we gonna take long bus rides or change from MRT to buses which is so troublesome.

So from Khatib, we reached Holland Village in about 30mins only!
There were many people there that day, I guess because due to the opening event.
We also saw many caucasian too.
Holland Village has many restaurants and pubs.
I saw a few restaurants that I would like to try so I'll definitely go back again for food.
Other than that, I guess there are nothing much to shop around.

Settled our lunch at Breko Cafe.
It was quite noisy in the cafe because there were people watching the rugby competition.
Seriously, I dont understand how these people can get excited with this kind of sport show.

Nonetheless, The food is quite nice.
They are almost like Aston and the price is almost the same too.
The portion is a lot, and we almost cannot finish it.

After eating, we went to walk around and then we took a bus down to Far East Plaza for shopping.

At the end of the day, both my legs are very sore.

Girlies' Gathering

Met up with my group of nonsensical girls - Steph, Ver, Kaman and Maliang. HAHA!
It was a gathering and also an early birthday celebration for Kaman. :)
Haven seen her for very long already!

Dinner at Nihon Mura (also known as Suki Sushi) at Hougang Plaza, 3rd floor.
The best thing there for buffet menu is that the salmon sashimi is FREE FLOW!
YES, FREE FLOW so for salmon sashimi lover MUST go there!

My twin, Steph. Dont we look alike? Hehheh..

After our dinner, Steph drove us down to Haibin for prawning.
Veron and I didnt prawn as we gonna leave before 12am.
Sat there chit chatting and see people catching prawns. HAHA.

Veron and I left at ard 1130pm.
Sadly, we didnt get to try the Chocolate Banana cake that Steph baked for Kaman. :(

Penang Trip Day

Finally I am blogging out my experience at Penang, a 4D3N trip! (From 6 Aug - 9 Aug)
Its a trip to Sheauwei's hometown because I promised her that I would go over one day and she will bring me around. ^~^
I heard that Penang is famous for good food!

On the 6 August 2011 we set off, taking Tigerair over.
Reached Penang at 1pm+, Sheauwei and Andrew were one day earlier than us so they came over to fetch us.
Sheauwei's sister is so kind to borrow her car so that they can drive us around!
The weather there is very hot, hotter than Singapore!

Before checking into our hotel, we went for our lunch first.
I am not very sure of the place that they brought us.

豆蔻 Nutmeg Juice which is made from Penang.
I think its nice, taste sweet.

Root Beer but the color is darker than Mugs root beer.

Hokkien mee if I am not wrong.
And yes, its soup based unlike Singapore.
Taste great and I love it!

After our lunch, we were being drove to Batu Ferringhi where our hotel is located at.

Changed and then we went over to the beach.
They have a few water sport activities for us to choose from.
We choose the parasailing and banana boat.
Finally got to try out parasailing.
Its quite fun but the banana boat is more fun!

I was at the front seat and it was really exciting.

And I guess you have to control and not to let the banana boat overturn as well.
Then, we went for a swim at the swimming pool before we went back to our room to shower.

After showering, we headed out for a full and sinful dinner outside.
Not sure the places again because we were being drove there so I didnt take note of it. =X

Next morning, we woke up at around 10am.
Prepared and meetup at about 12pm.
Because its Sheauwei and Andrew last day, they have to check out first but their flight is night time so they have half day more to bring us around.

Then we went out to have our lunch at Pasar Air Itam, Laksa @ Jalan Pasar, which is famous for their Assam Laksa.

I am not a fan of assam and laksa.
But this is not bad.
I like the noodle.

It rained for a while and stop.
The weather is weird there.

Penang is almost surrounded by hills.
After food, we tried to find LokLok at the area but to no avail.
Instead, I bought a balachan back home as granny requested.

Then Andrew drove us up to the hill to Lok Kok Si (极乐寺)

There were a lot visitors on the day we went.
We also took a chance to pray and also wrote the wishing ribbon!

Next, we went to the Penang Hill.
For tourist, entrance fee is more expensive than the locals.
Sheauwei and Andrew tried to cheat and want to help us buy, but not successful. ._.

Cost us RM15 but their entry ticket is less than RM10!

The tram went up quite fast.
Like within 5mins, we reached our destination.
And it really went up quite high. (Not sure how many meters high)

Its quite cooling at the top, the weather is so different at the ground area.

Sheauwei said this canon represent the Penang Hill so must take photo with it!

After eating, we were send back to our hotel and Sheauwei and Andrew left us to go back to Singapore first as they have to work the next day.
So BF and I decided to head to the beach to chill and wait for the sunset!
Did I tell you that the beach there is not as beautiful as Redang?
The water is not as clear as Redang.
The sand is not as white and powdery as Redang.
However, the view of the sunset is great!

During the night time, we went to the night market, as known as pasar malam.
Its just located outside our hotel.
Didnt buy any stuff from there, just 1 or 2 DVD for us to get through the night. Haha..
There are really a lot of fake branded goods there. -_-

Settled our dinner at the coffeeshop there.
Food are a ok, the price are just like SG so I guess considered as expensive than the outside?
However, the pizza is nice and very cheap.
BF keep raving how nice the pizza is!

Went back to our hotel and watched the show that we bought.
For the rest of the night, we did the same thing. HAHA..

Next day, we explore the outside ourselves.
Took a bus to Gurney Plaza, the shopping mall is quite big there and almost the same as Singapore because the mall is opened by Capitaland.
Lunched at Kim Gary.

After done shopping at Gurney Plaza, we cabbed down to Tesco.
Just a short short trip cost us RM15 which is expensive.
Cheat our feeling. :(

The mall look very big from the outside but there's nothing to see and walk inside.
We only bought some neccesities back to Singapore in the supermarket because its seems cheap there.

Didnt stayed out long and we took a bus back.

The next day we got up early in the morning to eat our breakfast at the hotel.
Actually not much varieties but the food still okay.

And then we checked out at around 10am+
Booked a taxi from the reception which cost RM75 and the driver was nice enough to bring us to see some specialities like the white coffee, chocolate and tea bags before heading to the airport.
We bought chocolates and also a box of packet Lemon Tea.
The lemon tea drink is really nice, kind of regretted that we didnt buy more boxes back.
Touched down Singapore in the afternoon and BF dad drive us back home.

About my experience for this trip, I guess its good if there's friends bringing you around the places so that we got to try nice food.
However, my stomach cannot really take the assam and spicy food so during the trip, I had stomach flu. :(
Also, I enjoyed the sightseeing especially at the Penang Hill.
We also didnt dare to go further places so we sort of wasted one day there.
Nonetheless, I guess everything is a good experience. :)

White: Melody of the Curse

This show was shown last year.
My bro got the movie and I took it from him.
I haven been watching any korean horror show lately.
Any more recommendation do let me know ok?

So anyway this show is about a group of 4 members called the Pink Dolls who become popular due to the song called White.
However, due to the song, they were being haunt.
One by one the girls met death.

This is the "curse" song from the show and I find the melody very catchy which I likes. :)

Hmm there are 2 motion poster for this show and it looks scary. :S

For a chinese cuisine, I guess the food is good.

Good Doings

Just now, I took a cab down to my accounts office.
When i reached the place, i took out my cooperate card in order to pay the cab driver but he told me he forgot to on the meter so he dont want to charge me.
The old uncle tell me, "its ok, never mind."
I felt very awkward taking a cab without paying so i took out a $5 note from my own pocket to pay him.
I get out of the car still hearing him saying its ok.

I wonder how many of you will do the same things as me?
I guess most people will take the chance of not paying maybe because its for your own benefit.
However, I see the the uncle who looks very old age (white hair, wrinkled hands), and he is working hard to earn money.
I feel quite pitiful for him.
Even if he's a middle age man or a young guy, I will still pay or give some amount to them because everyone out there out working for a living.
I guess I know the feeling of working as a cab driver because my dad is also one of them so how i know how hard the money is earned.

Anyway sometimes I do wonder if I do something good, will i get something good in return?
But there's a saying that good people doesn't do you good too (好人沒好報).
Sigh, this world is too complicated!

Month of October!!

Happy Children's Day!!

I heard from the radio that in future the Teacher's Day and Children's Day will change to Friday in first week of September and October.
Long holiday for them!
Why during our times, they didnt thought of that? D;

So anyway its the month of October already, which means 2 months more to 2012.
And this month, I am rather busy.
Almost everyday I am going out for the 1st three weeks!
2 of my weekends, I will be out of Singapore for a 2D1N trip!
Gonna be fun and tiring I guess.

Next month will be my long holiday to Bangkok already!
BF and I will be there for 7D6N.
Our hotel and flight are booked so there's nothing much worry about.
However until now, we still have not do our itinerary.
Wondering what can we do there for one whole week seriously.
Shopping and more shopping??
Anyone advise?
I planning to go lopburi sunflower farm.
It will be like a dream with a field of sunflowers.
Hope that by the time we are there, the sunflowers will be full bloom.

Also, my sis and I are planning to go Taiwan already with mum and grandmother next year!
I'm spending all my money away for trips and more trips!
Good gracious~
How can I save money like that??
Nonetheless, I am still happy to be travelling around. :D

Drastic Change

I said bye bye to my Ash Brown hair..
It has been following me for about 10months since January.
I really likes it and the photos I took, looked very nice.
However, it is really high maintenance, as in I need to retouch it like every 2 months.
Moreover, I'm damaging my hair already.
It becomes very dry. :(

So I'm changing to NATURAL BLACK!
I haven had black hair for years.
Hope I wont be itchy hand to go and dye it after few months. Teehee..

So how do I looked? :)

Some of my friend still prefer me with brown hair but I guess maybe they seen me with that color for a long period.
BF and Sis also said that they cannot get used to my black hair. Haha..
Anyway, I know they can get use to it after a period of time..

Finally, I bought my 1 month supply of DHC Collagen Drink (DHC Collagen Beauty 7000+).
I've been reseaching on the net, looking for the types of Collagen Drink.
In Watson, you can see few types of them already.

One box contains 10 bottles of drink.
Therefore I bought 3 boxes.
Moreover, its having offer right now!
By right its selling at $49.90 in Watson, now its only $44.90.
Saved $5! ^^

Collagen Drink comes in a bottle size and also in the form of powder.
I guess it depends on which kind of intake you want?
Also, bottled are much more expensive.

The taste of the drink is quite sweet but its not fattening at all, and the drink is really tasty.

You might wonder why am I drinking it so early?

Hi, just dropping by and posting a pretty picture of myself before heading to bed. ;p
I am already editing my post on my Penang Trip and I guess it will be up soon.

Few minutes ago, I received an email from Dweam, our Ms Singapore Universe 2011, that I won a full size box of Avalon Japanese Fish Collagen!
I took part the contest in her blog and was lucky enough to be chosen. :)

Today, I just bought 1 month supply of DHC Collagen Drink.
I will do a post on it another day.
From today onwards, I gonna start drinking it everyday.

減肥大作戰！！

I am going to start my diet plan!
Current weight is about 55kg.
I wanna slim down to 50kg!
Is it possible? It is.!
HEHE~ Must have determination what....

Below are my plans:

Gonna cut down on bubbletea intake.

No food intake after 8pm.

Not gonna eat so much rice as rice have more calories.

Eat more vegetables.

EXECRISE!

People sees that I'm slim cos I cover up them well.
However, my problems are my bulging stomach, big thigh and big butt!
So sad lah, why all my fats gone to those area and why not my boobs? Damn!
Been watching Queen (女人我最大), a Taiwan Beauty programme, on tips to become slim and beautiful. ^~^
Everytime when I saw pretty and slim girl makes me feels jealous and envy of them.

Sigh.. Sux to grow older as my metabolism rate is getting slower. :(
Moreover BF seriously needs to motivate me during weekends and not stuff me with food and supper at night!
Imagine during weekdays I follow my rule and refrain from all those stuff but comes to weekend, I didn't follow them, at this rate my weight will not drop!

Anyway gonna try my best to get my goal of having 50KGS! JIAYOU!

旋风管家 // Hayate the Combat Butler

I just finished watching Hayate the Combat Butler (旋风管家), a total of short 13 Episodes.
This show originate from a manga.
Its a story about a guy call Hayate who who is buried by his parents' gambling debts. With no way to pay back the money, he thought about going to the dark side by getting into the kidnap and ransom business. But instead of becoming a kidnapper, he ended up saving a girl from a real kidnapping. The girl turned out to be the sole heir of a conglomerate who faced these kinds of threats every day. In a case of kidnapping gone wrong vs. mistaken love confession, she hires him to be her butler and helps repay his parents' debts. Grateful to have gangster collectors off his back, he vows to protect her from harms, which is no easy task.

For this show, they invited Park Shin Hye (朴信惠) to act as the main actress.
The reason I watched this show is because of Park Shun Hye! :)

Anyway I find the main actor, George Hu (胡宇崴) is cute too!
I've seen him acting a few show before but was never the main actor.
As for this show, he is the main one and I feel that he acted well.

Oh, I am so attracted to Tia Li (李毓芬)!
She looks like a goddess~
She has a got pretty face which I am very envy of!
Cannot take my eyes off her!

Johnny English Reborn

Impromptu meet up with BF for dinner and movie on a weekday. :)
I told him I wanted to watch Johnny English because I heard many people say its funny and without hesitation he said we'll watch it today!

8 years since the first part, Johnny English Reborn finally came out this year.
I wonder what took it so long?
Anyway, the first part of the story, I really cannot remember anymore so I'm not sure if there's any link to the second part.
I only remembered I watched the first part with my sistas.
Few days ago, we were only talking about it on facebook only.
Even though everything changed, some have their own life to go on, but its still nice to chat with them again. :)

So the genre of the show is action comedy.
I guess whenever we see this guy, we only know he's call Mr. Bean as he's famous comedian in the Mr. Bean comedy show.
The show is quite nice and of course funny.
We laughed almost throughout the show.
Its good to watch it on a weekdays to relieve some stress. :)

Unknown Calls and Phone Numbers

I bet most of you do receive unknown calls or those numbers that aren't save on your contacts.
I really wondet how does this caller got my numbers from.
Most of the time, the calls are from insurance company which I really hate!
Usually I don't answer those call but I'm afraid that I'll miss out important calls for me so I'll try to answer.

Few hours ago, I received a call from, I believe is from insurance company as she keep telling me about policies.
She speaks like a Filipino and I can hardly understand her spoken English.
I wasn't paying attention to her as I was not interested in what she's telling me.
Until the end, she asked for my particulars and I was wondering why.
So I doubled confirmed again and again.
Luckily I didn't give her my particulars as she gonna do enrollment for me.
At first, I sort of agreed to the enrollment because I can't understand her.
When I turned down her request, she asked me why.
What why? She said that there's no obligation what. Tsk!
In the end, I told her off that since there's no obligation and I'm not interested, I don't want to join.
I guess this is the first time I reject people directly like that.

I know these people are trying to make a living as well and I really don't mean to be mean.

Weekends are always so short..

How true is that!

To me, weekends are always so short!
I haven even get the feel of weekend yet and then tadah, it weekdays! *sigh*

So on Saturday, I finally got to go H&M with BF!
A new 3 storeys high fashion brand shop located at Somerset, just opposite of Cineleisure!
I am not sure why but seriously I am not very fond of the clothes except for some which are the winter jacket.
However, in SG there's no need to wear those clothes!!
I know its going to be the winter seasons now.. ._.
Heard my friends said that H&M in HongKong are much more cheaper, is that true???
Well i guess the bags, shoes and accessories they are really cheap..

In the end my damage there is only $39.90!
I only bought a velvet color bag which I really like!

BF also bought a top and socks. Haha..
I cannot imagine how people can spend hundreds dollar there.
Maybe I not very interested in the clothes is due to too many people at the fitting room i guess!
If I cant even get to try, I guess I wont really buy the clothes unless I am buying basic tops.

Our dinner, we settled it at The Roti Prata House, located at Upper Thomson Road which is said to be the crispiest of all.
Indeed, the prata is really crispy.
However, I guess they pre-made the prata so when ours were being served, the prata is not as fresh as it just come out from the stove. :(

Other than the pratas, we also ordered the Meehoon goreng.
I dont usually eat this but I find it quite tasty too.

After our dinner, we headed down to AMK hub to watch Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark.

The show is okay.
The scary part is only because of the loud sound system in the theatre that scared me.
Other than that, I don't think this is is scary. Haha..

That's all for my weekends.
Usually Sundays are resting days for BF and I.
Nothing much.

MJK Korean Crystal BBQ

Bought the groupon deal for MJK Korean Crystal BBQ to try the food there.
The restaurant is located at 151 Joo Chiat.

Review as below.
The server is quite attentive to us as they helped us to cook the food.
Maybe they see us quite noob or maybe they are afraid that we spoilt their crystal BBQ plate, I duno? LOL. Kidding.
Anyway, the food is not that fantastic as we can find better one.
For the price of $20++ (original price), I think it is not worth it as the varieties of the food are very little.
Like about 10 different dishes??
They use the sushi train for us to choose our food.

We bought the deal coupon at $20 for 2 person.
However, we still need to pay for the drinks, butter and wet tissues.
When BF said that we don't want the wet tissues, they said it is included. Like wtf?
And the butter we didnt really use it at all and they charge us for $1.50???
I think its quite ridiculous.
So our verdict is that we will not be patronizing again even though they gave us a discount coupon.
We didnt even take it.

On the night, BF drove me out for dinner, also our supper, at Chomp Chomp.
It's been quite some time since we went there for food.
Usually, we'll order Sambal Stingray, a plate of veggies and 2 plate of rice as main and side order will be the BBQ Chicken and drink will be the big cup of sugarcane! :D
So fattening to eat so full at night! D;

Earlier of the day, we went to buy sparkles and a lantern.
Actually we just want to play sparkles but what is lantern festival with lantern? LOL. :)

After our dinner, BF drove down to nearby Sengkang Floating Wetland.
There's not much people as its around midnight.
So we played and took lots of nice photos! :)

Hahaha.. BF act funny only..

Tried out using sparkles to draw different things.
Some turn out beautifully and I really love it.
Im unsure what mode is he using for the shots.

I just completed this korean drama, Dream High!
Total episodes: 16
People like me who loves drama genre which is about school and romance would love this show!
Moreover, its about music industry which add point to the show!
I seldom see this kind of storyline in Taiwan drama.
The main casts are solo singers or are from groups like Miss A, T-ara and 2PM so you can see that they can really sing and dance!
I'm hoping for Season 2 to come out next year!

The storyline is telling us about six students at Kirin Art High School who work to achieve their dream to become a music star in Korean music industry.

In term of in a relationship, how do you define the above?
Somehow I can't find the feeling...
Not emo-ing, but just curious?

It's been a smooth sailing 3 years relationship, the feeling, its like neutral.
Maybe its because its already 3 years plus so I don't even know the feeling is what anymore.
Is that the feeling of love or just getting use to each other presence?
I don't know...
Sometimes I don't even have any feeling.
Sometimes I feel that I'm not even in an relationship with anyone.
Weird isn't it?

Well, I guess I just gotta be contented and cherish what I have now.
Compared with some of my friends, I know I'm the lucky one.
They envy me while I am envying others.
Its like a cycle like that.

Hello starting this post with a pic of myself with a little messy hair.
Ok sorry for not really updating regularly.
I am like doing my weekly weekend updates.
Life's for me during the weekdays are just work, study, home and nothing special so yup that's the reason for boring updates. =p

I know I still owe the Penang Trip post.
I still have not start resizing and edit the photos yet. :x

Anyway, last Saturday H&M opening!
However, I missed out.
I was there really but the queue was crazily long so BF and I didnt get the chance to go. :(
Anyway, there will be chance to go one day.
H&M will be there forever.. LOL

So we caught The Smurfs!
Oh my smurfs! The show is cute and funny!
Its a good and happy show. :D

During night time, BF drove to my house to pick my mum and sis to Punggol for dinner.
It is a birthday dinner for my mum.

Ways to go there is by own transport, if not you can go there by shuttle bus from Sengkang.

Long Weekend!

I had 4 striaght days of holiday!
Yesterday was a replacement holiday for the PE election public holiday! :D
And I stayed the whole day at home finishing my drama. ^~^
It has been a long time since I stayed home surfing website, watching drama and not going out.

Anyway, today i met up with Sheauwei and we went out.
Had our usual updates and then we went shopping.
I bought clothings!!! D;
Can't wait for H&M to open this Saturday, 03 Sept 2011!

After shopping, she left to meet her boyfriend.
Then I went home for awhile before I went out again to AMK hub to meet Veron for movie.
Watched Overheard 2!

Actually I didnt caught the first series of Overhead.
Not sure if both story got link?
But i can say that Overheard 2 is good!
Shall try to find Overhead 1 and watch!

Just completed this drama show!
I think channel U is showing the last episode this Saturday.
This is a short 13 episodes drama.
The main cast is obviously shown in the image above, Mike He and Cyndi Wang.

Actually, I find that this show is a little like some usual romance drama.
The storyline is not really very unique.
Still, I watched it because its acted by my favourite actor - Mike He.
In this drama, I think he cried too much.

I don't know why I cried so badly for EP13!
Maybe it's really heartbreaking to see that 2 person who loves each other so much but because the guy was sick, they might not be able to be together.
Also, the part whereby the mother and the son get together, its also quite touching.
Or maybe because Mike He cried and it makes me feel so sad too? Hahaha..

Anyway, overall the show is not bad and its not that draggy.
Oh and the ending is bad. Zzz...
Yes, its telling us its happy ending, and i guess the guy recovered after six years later.
But why we didnt even get to see the guy face in the end?
I guess the ending can be improved because somehow its seems a sudden end. -.-

Eat, Shopping, KTV, Movie

One thing that I cant really tolerate is when you already said the timing to meet already, yet the person change it to another timing LAST MINUTE.
That what i called the person rubber band timing and super elastic kind~!
Encountered it a few time by the same person lor. *irritated*

Few sentences of ranting.. -_-
Next let me post u 2 pics of me before i start the post of the day. LOL!

I woke up early to try curling my hair.
In the end, after my makeup done, my hair become straight again.
Waste my time and energy. :(

So anyway, after voting for the PE at the nearby CC.
I went to the mac to order a cup of drink while waiting for the girls to reach.
Luckily Jingwen reached a few minutes after i bought my drink, so i went to the MRT station to find her.
Engsang reached abit later.

Trained down to Farrer Park and had late lunch at Aston.

My usual order. :)

After our food, we went to Metro to buy a bag for Jingwen.
Her super belated birthday present!

Then fast forward......

Went to NEX.
We parted Jingwen and her BF...
Engsang and I went for KTV at 7pm.
First time singing experience with her. Haha..
The experience is still ok..
And the partyworld at NEX mic and sound system is quite good!
Its my 2nd time singing there.. why now then i realised it?
Maybe we got a good room. ^^

Sang for 3hrs, ended at 10pm.
Called the BF down as we gonna watched late night movie together!
Sent Engsang to MRT station then back to NEX to wait for BF to reach.

Took out my contact lens as I wore it a long day.

Can you see my eyes becoming red? LOL.
I know i look weird with specs when I'm wearing makeup.

Our show is about 11.50pm.
So while waiting for the time to come, we went NTUC to buy some drinks and oso walk around.

So yup!
We caught FD5!
Its like the usual premonition then the bad events happened.
Gory, disgusted images/ scenes whatever you called it. Haha..

Actually I guess this FD5 might be the last series of Final Destination.
Because the end, it shows the scenes from FD1 to FD4.
But maybe there might be more coming up too, who knows?

After our movie, BF drove me down and we had late night supper as i didnt eat dinner.
Had Midnight Curry at Kovan.
Then went back his house to stay overnight.
Yup, that conclude my whole day event. :)

Nowadays I've been watching drama!
Not much nice iPhone games that catch my attention so I draw my attention to watching drama shows!

So I've just complete watching 醉后決定愛上你 / Drunken To Love You!
Total of 18 episodes only.
I thought it would be 20 episodes!
The story flow quite well and Rainie Yang acted well in the movie too.
No wonder she got Taiwan award for best actress / 台湾金钟奖“戏剧最佳女主角奖”。

This show is combination of romantic, comedy and some sad storyline in it.
Still, its happy ending at the end.
Rainie Yang and Joseph Cheng have bed scene and kissing scenes.
A show which is more mature.
Rainie Yang didn't really do her usual act cute faces for this show too.

Ok, there are few nice songs from the show that I really like and I want to share it to you~ :)

Finally, I met up with Hanisha for her belated birthday yesterday.
We had pizza at Lucky Plaza for dinner.
I’ve been to Lucky Plaza for so many times but I didn’t notice that there’s Pizza Hut there.

Actually nothing much, we just update on each other’s life as usual.
Then we went to walk and shop awhile at Forever 21.
After which, we went back home.
